Though I do hope this game has more variety in enemy types. Just stock troopers won't do it for me. I want to see a wide variety of people to kill.

Way to be professional Gamespot. They have no standards on what makes a game good over there. The Gamespot staff really needs to sit down at a table and start discussing what they each think makes a good game and use it as a guideline for their previews/reviews. I get sick to my stomach when I see how hypocritical and unprofessional they can be.

And as much as I want varied soldiers, I can understand why there isn't. The military have uniforms for a reason, so they all look the same.

I swear, Gamespot complains about the most dumbest things. No wonder they give so many lower than average reviews. I almost couldn't believe that those bastards gave Rachet and Clank on the PS3 a 7.5/10 when other reviewers gave it 8's and 9's.

The guy wishes the gun that he likes the most had more bullets in the clip? Give me a break man and just play the game. In Killzone 2, different weapons have different amount of bullets per clip and he hasn't even played with all of the weapons yet.

I can't wait to try out the Online Killzone 2 beta later on this year, and it looks like Killzone 2 is definantly living up to the hype.

Seeing the videos, not really impresses yet, defenity need to see it hd on my tv before I can really judge it.

Was looking forward to this game but am now wondering if it is not getting overhyped. graphics aren't everthing if the game fails to ad to the fps scene.
At least HAZE does got some interesting futures. Also the scenery seems kinda boring where is all the action.

What we've seen is standard linear shooter gameplay. Undoubtedly online MP and hopefully coop will be the main focus.

There needs to be a variety of bad guys with different abilities just like in the original but more so.

And aren't aliens suppose to be introduced for KZ2?

Plus we need to see how usable gameplay is implemented - as if done well can in itself add variety to gameplay or how a level is completed.

Personally, I'm not a fan of ANY media outlet, but what the hell was so unreasonable about the variety critique? There's no two ways about it, he's absolutely right.

As stellar and slick as the game looks, every enemy in that three part demo has a machine gun, ducks for cover, and moves around every now and then. I saw one grenade thrown the entire time.

There needs to be more diverse fire teams, different weapons employed by each enemy, and specialty teams, such as heavy or medium machine gun teams to establish a base of fire while the more mobile troops maneuver around the battlefield.

All I saw, again despite how slick it looks, was duck, shoot, duck shoot. That's all fine and dandy, as I would have fun with that, but the point still stands...there isn't much beyond that as far as enemy tactics go. The Helghast are an organized planet-wide military. They need to implement vehicles, teams, bunkers, air support, and other advanced technologies and tactics in this thing.

Again, it looks fun, but quit trying to act as if it's perfect.

Sony really does need another mainline shooter franchise. They pretty much gave up after the PS3 generation, and I'm really surprised they haven't tried at another high-profile, singleplayer-centric shooter; even if it weren't Killzone or Resistance.

I miss Killzone while I can see why they still do Horizon has some really good things but I do think that Horizon is overrated imo.

Or how about studios focus on projects that they feel passionate about, and not be forced to make something they have little interest in. It shows in the final product.

It’s still got potential for the modern era. The DNA is all there. The install base is there. The interest is there. The time is now.

I’m beating a dead horse here… but Resisitance FOM gun lay out was so fun, multiplayer was one of my top favorite experiences. Insomniac nailed it and I would love a remaster and maybe a redo with Reisistance 2. They listens to players who were wanting a Halo killer and it kind of lost its character from the first.

Warhawk, if they had just remade the first one not Starhawk which offered nice things like the build and battle.. but Warhawk was the best arcade shooter I ever played. Back when you didn’t have battle passes and you actually had to get certain amount of kills or ribbons to unlock different paint skins on the Warhawks and armor for your player.. Look at the success of Helldivers 2, it’s a fun game and it reminds me of Warhawk in a way. I’ve been wanting a remake or sequel since the beginning of the ps4 gen.. it’s hurts to have hope nowadays. Even with the demise of the studios Sony has a steady fan base.

Killzone game after Killzone 2 play style would be nice

Sorry bud, but the PS3 generation was amazing and featured the greatest console comeback in history.

That said, I'd love it if Warhawk returned or Metal Gear Solid 4. It needs to not be shackled to the PS3 generation anymore. A Killzone 2 remake would be insane with modern graphics and that art direction.

I really miss this gen of gaming. It felt like the last truly "great" era for videogames before the modern approach really took hold.

The PS3 was such a glorious console. The UI, the games, the free online...just incredible.

I would pay good money for a Warhawk remake. Socom too. The last Socom game just didn’t do it justice. Folklore could use a remaster or remake as well.
Several other titles I would like to remade with the amount of visual fidelity the current gen has over the past consoles it could help articulate the games that we’ve loved growing up. I would love even some ps2 titles to remade.. Dark Cloud from ps2, Legacy of Kain series but don’t know what will come of it sense it was bought by Embracer group and all there layoffs.

This strategy is exactly what helped ruin Xbox. Sony more than Microsoft know when to let a franchise go and that is important to keep things fresh. The old games are there if you want to play them.

Resistance series and Killzone 2 & 3 remasters/remakes. Make it happen. They will print money.

FF13 is top of this list for me. No matter your opinion on it, it being the only numbered offline FF out of all 16 not to be on new consoles is odd. GTA IV would be great too

The only reason my PS3 is still connected is because of the Resistance, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm games that I still love to play. I am for remaking or remastering them.

I was never a huge fan of Killzone, but thoroughly enjoy Horizon. Guerrilla are superb developer and easily up there with the best of the best.

Need a killzone 2 remake from the ground up.

Great studio, loved the Killzone series, I wish they would do a remake of the first three games. Horizon is a real step up and truly put Guerrilla Games on the map.

Too bad I never got a chance to play Shellshock: Nam’67 would have loved to try that game out back in the days to see what were their beginnings.

Bring back killzone (maybe in 3rd person perspective)

It would fantastic to see what they could do in Killzone after the lessons learned through Horizon.

Or heck, give us even a short linear FPS from the people who designed Cauldron THETA in the Burning Shores expansion. Even just flying into it (after gliding around and finding its opening amongst the lava and Sunwings perched around it, with other bigger machines just along the path toward it) was an incredible experience.

Forbidden West is awesome, It’s pretty damn big compared to Zero Dawn and it takes a little while to get your skills up and get the equipment you need to fully explore the game (not going to spoil it) but once you do those things and start fighting the big ass machines it really is amazing. Some cool side quests to where you hold the fate of peoples lives by your choice and the cauldrons look amazing. Lots of skills , combos, special moves and add ons for your weapons so you can approach fights many ways. Looking forward to the name game but I wonder how/if Silas will be a part of it or not ? Sad he’s gone.

I'm hyped for whenever Horizon 3 releases but Killzone 1 needs a remake BAD and 2 & 3 need remasters. Criminal those games are stuck on PS3.
