The Retake Mass Effect 3 movement had plenty of unexpected twists and turns. It brief retrospective comes from someone who participated in the movement, spearheading a number of campaigns.

To think that Bioware at some point was capable of doing games like this, you see those characters and remember them like good old friends, and now check ME Andromeda, Anthem, Veilguard etc and wonder what the hell happened.

Based on one narratively fitting ending in Mass Effect 3, Prothean squadmate Javik is highly unlikely to return in the next Mass Effect game.
He was one of my least favorite characters. I wish they would have done the Proths different.

Bioware should have just adopted the indoctrination theory because (in my oppinion)it makes the game more enjoyable, there wouldn't be a need to make extra endings, they would have look way smarter than they did and the way would be paved for a sequel... Once again, this is just my oppinion!

Nobody's realistically demanding a new ending anymore. Just consider this a look back :)
When they "fixed" the ending and gave you an option "not to choose" they should have just ended the game without a resolution that said you failed and let people imagine there own ending because no one had more emotion wrapped up than the person playing the game.
