Boom Beach will come in March. As the third game of Supercell, the game draws a lot of attention even though it just launched on Australia and Canada for CBT. You know what, the game occupied 29 slot in free chart within two days after launching on Canada App Store (Source:WSJ). And it isn't short-lived. According to Forbes reported in Feb 12, "Boom Beach has passed these test, with over 3,800 ratings on the Canadian store and reaching #5 in the Top Grossing Apps chart. That result has been duplicated in Australia." That sounds crazy, but it also proved the game's attraction.
Announced today, Space Ape Games will be bringing a brand new real-time multiplayer strategy mobile game set in the Boom Beach Universe. The developers have been very strict about sharing any details about the game, and therefore you will not find much about the game over the internet other than few Gifs and Cover Images.
But what the developers did announce is that they will be hosting a Closed Beta test for a few limited numbers of players for Boom Beach: Frontlines on 4-6th December and 11-13th December. The registration for the beta has already begun.
It's a big accomplishment for a mobile game to get a lot of players. And it's still more difficult to keep them around.
