quite honestly, i dont remember a whole lot about 2 amymore, but i absolutely hated the guy in second son haha.
It would make more sense to go off the evil ending of 2 and the good ending g of SS where Cole is The Beast.

First we get the Tushima sequel(coz its most rumored)
Then a new Resistance (need new PS SP FPS)
Then a totally new IP (new IPs are always interesting)
And then a new inFamous?
I had a great time with the second son. Never got to play the originals and hope they get remastered one day.
If I had a choice between another Infamous game and another Spider-Man game, I choose Spider-Man. Sony should spend its resources on its winners.
Infamous was such a winner its studio was given the freedom (after 3 titles + their expansions) to do a new IP with GoT, just like with Sly Cooper before infamous.
I'd welcome a 4th title even more than another Spider-Man, it'd be exciting what they could do with new powers fit for the hardware outside the limits of a licensed superhero game.
Spider-Man is guaranteed and is made by Insomniac so why not both as Sucker Punch would make Infamous.
who wrote this opinion piece seems to be a huge xbox fanboy, empty city? thats to be expected on the rain at night, you will have around 30 enemies around at the same mission, repetitive? its game you need to play yourself to understand, seeing isnt the same as playing, the only bad lighting and shadows are at night, which they didnt added to add effects to the rest of the game which looks amazing
fanboy or not the writer is correct about titles. pointing out the obvious neither system has a vast amount of new content. everyone complained about the wiiu's launch lineup but looking back, it had much more to choose from then either of the 2 new systems. and as the year goes on i doubt either system will have more then 10 exclusives by years end, and even half of those will be sequels.
It already has a great line up. It does not need saving :]

Second Son will only add to the good library. The ps4 gaming library might not be to some peoples liking but you can't please everyone can you.
