A lot of people complain about microtransactions in free-to-play games, but Ascend got them right by offering them but refraining from forcing them down players’ throats. I believe a game’s quality should be considered separately from its price, but I understand the gripes some people have. Fortunately Warframe, like Ascend, can be completed without paying a cent, which is great. Unfortunately it’s an entirely unoriginal and unmemorable third-person shooter."

Warframe is many things to many players (whom we call Tenno).
Clad in armor of untold power, they cycle between war and grace in a solar system paralyzed by conflict. Always adapting, evolving, becoming more.
Enemies abound here, from footsoldiers to sprawling leviathans. They will fight you on land, through the skies and in the stars above. Even beyond in the great unknown.
But with your Arsenal, your Abilities, and your potential, there's nothing that can stop you.
Bad review. It is a very fun shooter I think.
I've considered deleting warframe multiple times, it can be fun though for a little while, I'm going to delete it now after I buy a crappy weapon with the time I wasted collecting credits.
"Unfortunately it’s an entirely unoriginal and unmemorable third-person shooter." Yep, and I'll add "It's a game that you endure much more often than you experience." Do yourself a favor, go learn something instead, or play a better game :P. If you do try it spend your platinum wisely.
Warframe is ABSOLUTELY fun!!! Once tou get used to the fast pace environment and modding you will be stellar.
BAD REVIEW but it is just one persons opinion.
I would say that this person has the concept of the game mixed up. It's not trying to be Mass Effect as much as a mash up of a Mass Effect Multiplayer and Borderlands (loot!!!). The game is absolutely NOT meant to be played by hiding behind ANYTHING for any length of time (though you do have frames that offer stealth abilities).
The thing about this game is that it does a pretty BAD job of telling you what to do. It is something that takes patience and understanding...which means researching on the official page and wiki's to get the correct set up for each frame and weapon. Then, adjusting those to fit your play style. As far as never being challenging...umm..BS! Obviously, you must not have made it out of a single planet. Because, if you did, you would see challenge. Then, there's the Void and Derelicts + Nightmare modes. I have level maxed (30) frames and weapons and still find challenges all the time.
I can understand how people would misjudge this game based on a short play. I didn't like it much for the first week. Until I started to fully understand the mod system and the ebb and flow of combat.
Not trying to say that the review is incorrect. To each his own. But, I would disagree greatly. In fact, I would say the user reviews are more in line with my thoughts. You are welcome to check my review on this site (N4G) for a more complete understanding of the game.
