After hands-on time with both Evolve and Titanfall, Dusty Cartridge can’t help but think 2014 will be remembered as the year multiplayer gaming leveled up. Both offer an experience refreshingly unique, pitting players as either a monster or a titan, as a soldier or hunter. Unfortunately some of us can’t justify the purchase of two multiplayer-centric games, and will be restricted to playing just one. This is for those poor souls – a breakdown of how they stack up against each other, and which you should be breaking the piggy bank for.
And no, Dusty Cartridge has not played full versions of either game, but it’s clear each will appeal to a different type of player.

It has been recently revealed by an artist that a sequel to the 2015 title Evolve was in the works. However, this project wouldn't last long.
Was this game ahead of its time? A few years later games like Dead By Daylight, Friday the 13th and other asymmetrical games exploded onto the scene.

In a simple and concise post on Twitter, head of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella responded to fan requests for a Titanfall x Helldivers 2 crossover two love heart emojis, praising the idea.

Back in 2016, Turtle Rock announced that support for its 4v1 monster-hunting shooter Evolve would end but fans wouldn't let it die.
I will buy both as they are, pardon the pun "evolving" the MP FPS genre.
I really like the concept of Evolve and it looks really fun but after playing the TitanFall Beta if forced to buy only one it would be TitanFall.
Whats up with journalist's comparing everything?
Seems like the great debate of Halo Vs Killzone or the infamous rivalry of BF VS COD.
Has now branched off into other games its like come on why does one game need to be compared to another now?
Evolve from what I've seen looks ok at best. The games formula uses the L4D as the key thing here but I dunno maybe I have to see more. Everything just seems generic of sorts in the game.
Titanfall I'v played liked it allot and I have that paid off so I'm good.
Titanfall is last gen
Interesting theory
There's room for both, obviously. I'm not getting Titanfall. The beta killed that hype for me. Millions will love it though! I'm very excited for Evolve.
