Ron_Danger4481d ago

The new Primal Carnage is coming to PS4. That was teased last year at the PS4 reveal event.

A new Dino crisis would solve this

SpiralTear4481d ago

I think it'd be cool to see a new Dino Crisis game in an RE4-esque gameplay style.

HonestDragon4481d ago

Freakin' A, yes! A new Dino Crisis would be freaking awesome! But this is Capcom we are dealing with. We haven't seen Regina in the mainstream in a very long time. And Dino Crisis 3 was just...abysmal.

@ PostMesmeric

Yes! Resident Evil 4 style gameplay would be amazing for a new Dino Crisis.

Dante814481d ago

Dino Crisis 1 was superb. I wish Capcom would put it up on Steam.

AsimLeonheart4481d ago

Yeah, still waiting for Regina's return since CAPCOM/MS killed the franchise with that horrible Dino Crisis 3 on the original Xbox.

Stomping Lands will solve it see unlike dino crisis were you kill dinosaurs Stomping Lands makes the gamer become part of the prehistoric age by riding galliminus, a triceratops, even a tyrannosaurus Rex. Want to gather fruit or seeds well you could sneak by during the dinosaurs eating each other. Hell if you don't want to carry supplies why not use a dinosaur as a pack Mule. Ok you get the picture right oh you can set traps make fire using stones and sticks no wait you can fish and see the dino cycle of life just about covers everything no almost forgot hunt dinosaurs using rocks bow and arrow or a spear. No wait I also forgot to mention blend in with other dinosaurs phew ....... ^_^ ^_^

I certainly hope not. Zombies flooded the market. It's time for change in the action/horror genre. And dinosaurs might be the ancient reptiles to do it.

AnotherProGamer4481d ago

sadly they simple reason there are so many zombie games than dinosaur is because zombies are easier to model and animate, so only talented developers with passion would make dinosaur games

I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise

We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.

Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.

Scissorman45d ago

it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.

This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
