Rhys from Awesome Games writes: 'I recently picked up Siren Blood Curse on the cheap. If you don’t know, it’s kind of an overlooked, episodic PS3 horror game that is also a spiritual successor/update to the pretty poor PS2 game, simply titled Siren. I’ve yet to play it, as it’s something myself and fellow contributor Mike might be saving for the Awesome Games YouTube channel, but the general gist of it goes like this: an American film crew are sent to a rural part of Japan, to the village of Hanuda, where they soon realise its residents (known as the Shibito) have been transformed into hideous zombie-types. Now trapped in Hanuda, the film crew must survive the onslaught of the Shibito whilst figuring out just what on earth is going on. Think El Pueblo from Resident Evil 4, albeit with a change of dialect and locale.'

Just give it back to a Japanese devs and stop out sourcing the franchise to Western ones who have no clue what Silent Hill is about. Hell Kojima said he'd give it a shot, I'd be happy with that.
