Elder Scrolls Online Changes Make Starter Islands Optional

Zenimax Online Studios may still be recovering from the technical onslaught of the last large-scale Elder Scrolls Online beta but they're not resting on their laurels. Some information on a recent update has surfaced in a number of places detailing some rather large changes on the PTS server as we approach the final month before launch.

Guess it's a bonus for people that make more than 1 character? Otherwise I just see people skipping it to get to PvP quicker :D

Yes yes skip starter areas, whoopee.

Collision detection with NPCs is a far bigger change. The weakest element of the game just (hopefully) got fixed.

The amount of changes been made to this game during beta is great :-) it feels almost like an entirely new game since I started beta about a year ago :-)

For me this was the last thing I had to complain about (except for the imperial edition bonuses), the amount if fun I've had playing this is incredible. Never played an MMO before this so can't really judge it against other MMO's but trust me if you haven't played it this game is great fun! Can't wait until the servers fill up with players!

Good, I hate the Idea of these corporations trying to put people out of work. I honestly think we need to all start speaking up on the issue before things start getting bad.

I agree but we also need to do that with other corporations. Not just in gaming. But I also fell that its inevitable because its all about the bottom line which is the almighty dollar.

What happens when people are out of jobs because of AI and robots being capable of doing the work of a human in less time and with out breaks. How will the corporations make money when the ordinary man is jobless and cashless unable to buy what the corporations are selling. How will it affect the corporations bottom line when they themselves put the working force out of work.

Trying to type fast before my phone resets.

well if we all feel its inevitable then it will be. I agree its just not about gaming, but its a good place to start.
