when i saw that the source was VGchartz. How can this site still be used for anything?

it's just a guess.but the reality is simply right there in front of us.

microsoft is losing its 1 year lead.they lost it to nintendo.and now push the wii aside as if they aren't competing against it.and they got outsold by sony in the year of the perfect storm.and worldwide they are getting outsold by both nintendo and sony.

go ahead and lie to yourselves 360 fans.it's not like it won't stop what's going to happen this year.even microsoft is shaking in their boots because they know what's going on.the rhetoric from them is increasing day by day to comfort themselves.they spit out useless numbers that mean nothing when the main issue is how many consoles are sold.

correct me if i'm wrong.but to sell a supposedly 10 million consoles in your first year,but not sell that in your second year is pathetic.

to go from a supposedly 10 million lead when sony started at zero to 5 million going into your third year is pathetic.somebody is losing steam.especially when the other console sells for more money.

to spew we got to 10 million consoles in america"first" but not as of yet outsell the 14 million xbox sales in america from a previous generation is pathetic.just like a kid calling "first" when posting in a thread.

to be out on the market longer but get overtaken is pathetic.

to be outsold even with your best heavy hitters last year is pathetic.

to not have anything to stop sony's and nintendo's "future storms" but claim third party games as their own is pathetic.

let them keep claiming victory over nothing special.they will still get outsold.haters will buy ps3s as we said you would becuase you couldn't live without ps3.while ps3 fans still can live without 360s.

we'll all be laughing as games like FF,GOW3,and GT5 proper and those sony surprise exclusives at E3 decimate that 5 million lead.even if some of those 5 million 360 sales are from second time RROD buyers.

For a benchmark of course. The PS3 and 360 are tracking well in terms of game sales too! Glad to see the PS3 is doing well these days and as long as the good games keep coming in on both the 360 and PS3, I could care less about sales. They're just numbers to have fun with.

fishy fingers I don't seem to remember that the PS3 fans are agreeing with VGcharts even they know its not completely accurate but when they say the XBox 360 was outselling the PS3 the XBox 360 fans just believed it.

Why is it that vgchartz is held as inaccurate, yet npd is taken as accurate. As far as I am aware they are both estimates. Can someone explain this to me?
