Madden, the only game in town, thanks to the monopoly of the NFL.

We seriously need a worthy football game these days, bring back NFL2K!

Akuma2K4475d ago (Edited 4475d ago )

I don't know who gave you the disagree, but yes nfl2k football definitely needs to come back.....the football game genre is in coma and has been ever since the nfl license was aquired, the only thing ea sports has shown is that they can't make a proper football game to save their life and that 2k sports developers are much more superior and talented when it comes to making sports games (nba2k14 next gen is a prime example). I'm hoping we hear the announcement of NFL2K15 at this year's E3 in june, ea sports know if 2k football comes back that madden will be done inside 2 to 3 years.

As far as I'm concerned 2k5 is still the best football game to date. And as far as the disagree goes, probably some guy who knows nothing about football.

Hopefully he looked back and realized he hasn't accomplished s*** in his career, and decides to retire.

Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.

To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Jingsing25d ago

The stock mark is what makes Microsoft remarkable, They have convinced every institutional and retail investor to just keep piling money into them. Like many big tech giants they are just a big growing pyramid scheme. As long as people keep dropping money into ETF's that cover the market Microsoft will always be liquid. At the same time it is completely stifling innovation and competition. People need to start being more discreet in how they invest their money as it's killing the system.

Tanktopmaster9225d ago

Once they re-evaluate exclusive all will be fine….

S2Killinit25d ago

Riiiiight because people will just flock back to them for one or two games per year.

Jingsing25d ago

15+ years of bad performance is what they call irreparable in business. It is time for them to sell off the assets and get out of entertainment.

Tanktopmaster9225d ago

These declines are on the back of extra revenue received from releasing games like Forza horizon 5 on PlayStation. So I’m being sarcastic here when I said they should go back to exclusives. Killing off a revenue stream from Ps5 sales will only make things worse
