EA announces new Sims expansion featuring IKEA furniture. Really...this is no joke...

The Sims 2 Legacy Collection just received a patch that fixes two issues, making it a solid choice until inZOI gets a performance update.

Celebrate The Sims' 25th anniversary with legacy editions of The Sims 1 and 2, including all expansion packs and a Sims 4 themed bonus!
These games deserve a remaster tbh, and a console release. I already had em installed on my Deck but I as I've said before, OG SIMS on the Switch would be a match made in heaven.

KeenGamer: "From IKEA homeware to fun kids' stuff, let's rank all the Stuff Packs for The Sims 2. Expansion Packs gave us lots of great new ways to play, but Stuff Packs allowed you to deck your Sims out in cool new outfits and jazz up their homes with great new objects."
hmmmmm...i like the sims (yeah...everyone will say its a girls game...but come on...has everyone who sais that played it???)
but back to topic...it is a natural evolution that one of the most popular PC games out there (where furniture is in it) and the most popular furniture company (atleast here in Europe) would make something together...its easy as that
now we going to get branded things in sims its cool
.
This is actually not a bad idea at all.. Imagine the use of the furniture in a game, or in PSN Home. Ikea could create a 3d model of each of their current furnitures, and it would benefit all:
Sony would get tons more stuff for PSN Home.
People would be able to check Ikea's stuff in real 3d perspective.
Ikea could get statistics about which kind of furniture people like the most, and would probably get more sales.
