Rely on Horror: In his closure statement on Irrational's website, Levine stated that his approach to his next project was to follow in the footsteps of those that opted to do independent start-ups. Aware of the risks involved, Levine wrote that one of the things he needed was “a long period of design” - something he did not believe he could accomplish at 2K. NEW IPs! As much as I love Bioshock series, wanna see what other new ideas they can execute.
Long period of time? Didn't infinite get delayed like a 100 times? Good people losing their jobs to fuel his creative ego is bullshit. I loved Bioshock and Levine's storytelling ability but this stinks.
So what happens to Bioshock for Vita?
sony this is a great opportunity..lock it up
I like the games Ken makes and I'm glad to hear 2k is letting him take his time to get his next vision out.
Kinda off topic, the article mentioned AAA like 5 times, which got me thinking, what is it that makes a game AAA? Is it quality or budget? Now I've anyways thought it was quality, but if quality is what makes a game AAA, how can a game be AAA before it released? Isn't that's like a movie being promoted as a Oscar winner before it releases, or a album being promoted as number one on billboard before it's even out. On the other hand if its budget that's make a game AAA, I guess it's makes more sense, but just because something costs a lot doesn't automatically make it good
