Why I will never forget the Xbox 360

The most memorable console that ever lived. Through all the highs and lows, I'm completely positive that I will never forget the antics that this piece of junk has put me through for the last 7 or so years. Thanks Mr. Gates, thanks Microsoft. Stories never to be forgotten and errors never to be remembered.

Xbox 360 2005-2010 during this time period was amazing, it was like the next gen ps2 imho, yes rrod sucked balls it happened to me 3 times but hey the games were fun, playing online was a blast, dlc was ok i guess and microtransactions? non existent.

After 2010 everything went south...

Xbox LIVE is still there after 2010 making it a much better console than PS3 for me as a online gamer mostly

Yeah man I completely agree. Even after 2010 you could feel that the work put into games and their quality was lacking quite a lot. Hopefully such won't happen to Microsoft's future consoles.

I'll never forget the memories of Halo 3 online, probably the best MP game of the generation.

RedSoakedSponge4489d ago

because we were playing games on it for nearly a decade. how could anyone forget something youve used for nearly a decade? lol

chemil994489d ago

Well you've got to admit that there are one or two consoles out there that have been forgotten over time due to their dodgy games and absence of any sort of a lasting appeal.

Got my 360 in 2010 exclusively for Gears 3 and still play till this day am ranked 28 in quick match Guardian. IMO It's fun and competitive on live. I skipped Gears J, and will skip xbone along with gears 4 :(.Sad was the day Gears officially became a Microsoft Ip...

I recomend 360, ps3, and Wiiu, if you havent already bought into next gen. I will wait a little longer before I get a ps4

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
