Sony has a major game coming out next month and the demand is still through the roof before it even arrives. It is going to be a tough year for them.

Notice how the X1 sales number had been hanging around the 3.2 to 3.5 number since the end of Dec? I have no idea if that's a actual solid sold number for them or not but IMO that number will stay around the 3.5 to 4 million mark until the Titanfall game comes out then all of a sudden the number will shoot up close to whatever the PS4 sales number is and I expect it'll be by mid march around 6.5 to 7 million maybe more. Back to the X1. The sales number they'll post will not be the actual sold number it will be the shipped number and this will be done in hopes of causing a buying frenzy for the X1. Of course it won't but this is how the Microsoft PR plan works. I'm sure the Titfall game will sell very well and it really looks fun but in no way does look like it can meet the pre launch hype that Microsoft has put out and will put out. I just don't see it as a console seller Microsoft needs it to be IMO. So I'm sure you hated reading this Microsoft fan boy, really it's ok so hate on.

Thats a butt whopping right there and I am glad Sony is doing so well, but we need for MS to stay in this race. The competition needs to be there and its not going to come from ninty. So I hope X1 can do better or you never know MS is so big they may just leave the industry, they have a new CEO he may decide its a lost cause and not worth the effort and concentrate resources in other markets.

I believe some of you are under estimating the land of the rising son (Japan) I Have heard people say that ps4 sales in Japan will reach 1 million in 2 weeks. Im pretty confident that sales will be higher than that after 2 weeks.

PS4 = 59.5%
XBox One = 40.5%

Umm who cares. Unless you have serious stock in the current sales leaders, why is this important. Lets hear about games. I remember the good old days when magazines like gamepro and egm focused on games, reviews, previews, editor lists, and in depth interviews with the developers. Seems like every gaming article is about who is out selling, what developers dont like who. My favorite is who didnt make sales targets this year which were based on a overly succesful actual profit. Is this really being driven by gamers or do companies now want us to feel sorry, worried or mad related to how much they profit or dont profit

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
