hmm not bad but the other environments look better than this one. aldemeri dominion has some of the best looking areas. and maybe its just the screens but the game looks a litter better than this on my PC. could just be quality degraded in screens or this person is playing on medium settings perhaps.

we all are under a NDA, you are not allowed to post anything or say anything about the game unless they tell you and specifically you that you are allowed to post anything.

yes, the Media can do that. since they are allowed to do so. or atleast that is what the Polaris Channel and AngryJoe is saying anyway.
the common people dont get a mail about them being able to upload.

the comment was to "sungam3d" as im guessing he isnt a part of a news network or site and is just a private person.
he said he was blocked from youtube for posting it, meaning he uploaded it without being whitelisted by Bethesda and therefor didnt get the mail either.

you comment (Garethvk) does not make sense at all..... im not questioning your site. im just informing "sungam3d".
it wasnt like my comment towards was confusing anyway....

Played the beta twice just to see if the updates made it better. It was still terrible. It could only appeal to extreme elder scrolls fans and I don't know how long they could even enjoy it. Its pure trash all around there is nothing redeeming about it.

Also don't let those intro quest screens fool you. It looks decent and the intro quest is cool, but when you step out into tamriel, the graphics are terrible and the quests are terrible

we have to do very long surveys after the play test sessions and I have always said I would not pay a monthly fee to play the game. It is fun, but I do not have 6 hours a day or more to play every day. I need games where I can play for an hour at a time.

So far my wife and I and another staffer who have been playing enjoy it. I had some adjustment with pathfinding and navigation but it is a minor issue.
The locales are interesting and diverse but like most games of the type it is go here, get that, do this. You spend alot of time running to and fro. The main quests can be interesting as there are points where you can influence the storyline. The big issue is with so many games of this type already out will people other than die hard Elder fans play it often enough especially with the monthly fee. We were asked how long we could see ourselves playing after launch and if we would pay a fee to play. I thought of The Old Republic and Star Trek online and it is the same for me. Interesting enough, but after 90 days or so there may not be enough to hold my interest. I just do not go for or have time for 6 hours or so a week. We have to many games, films, dvds, and other things to review and write. I need games that I can play a few hours a day and can complete in a few days, with the online to draw us back when time allows. I cannot see paying for something I would drop in every month or two.

No, I am a gamer who has to have a priority. By what regard do you call me a stooge? I play what I review, I do not take payment for a postive review, and my staff and I have to cover a wide range of games each year. we aqre not now and never will be a mouthpiece for a company, that is why we have grown from a site to also have a syndicated radio show, newspaper syndication, and a magazine. We call it as we see it and are fair, we do not play games like the big boys do where we pay for exclusives, then charge game publishers for ads but expect the public to believe we review their games honestly regardless of how much we were just paid by the.

Just becuase I do not play certain types of games often that does not mean my staff does not. In the time it takes to play a MMORPG properly, I can do 3-5 other games so I tend to focus on those. I have been playing games since the Atario 2600 so I would say I have more experience playing games than most of the people who call themseleves reviewers.

i said that cause you seem to have every reason to not play this particular type of game yet you still do a write up on it. how can anyone get a fair look at a game written by someone that admittedly does not have the time to get a good view of it.

I made the time. I have logged over 15 hours on it in two days. I am saying that many games like this I play alot for 2-3 months but then schedule demads and fading interest often get in the way. I played the game at PAX Prime last Sep, and when they asked us to be in the Beta, I assigned some of my workload to others and we freed up alot of time to play during the test hours. My big concern is when it comes out, would I pay 15.00 a month for a game that I would have to block out large amounts of time to see the value in. That being said, so far it has really grabbed my attention and my wife really enjoys playing it so I could see us making a go of it and making the time for it as a great social experience. I used to play City of Heroes and Villains alot, I had more free time then and I would play for a few hours every day but even then I could see that it was one that required alot of time to play.
