Batman Arkham Asylum Review | Pause The Screen

Pause The Screen Writes: "This was one game I was truly afraid of – not literally of course. Being a fan of the Dark Knight and everything he had accomplished, I was afraid this was going to be another failed attempt at creating him in game. Let’s face it, how many memorable Batman games are there? I can’t recall any. Now, finally, there is one."

Let's argue, everyone. DC > Marvel. Okay, I'm done. Go! LOL

Great review, by the way. I (heart) the Dark Knight!

DC has the better villains by far

And thanks by the way for the compliments. The real question in 5 years is going to be what film franchises and video gamers offer a better entertainment value? Right now its Marvel for Film and DC For video games

Yeah marvel should really step up their game, all we get is games based on movies and alot of crap on either facebook or mobile.
Still waiting for a AAA Daredevil game.
Think marvels more street based heroes really would fit perfectly for a game.Daredevil in the style of the arkham games or The punisher in something like Max Payne.
Well, a man can dream.

All three of the latest batman games have been good. I also enjoyed the ones on super Nintendo.

The SNES ones were better. I used to love Batman as a kid but then I switched over to watching Spiderman. I don't like the Batman games because they feel like they are made just to advertise DC. They lack depth in the story, characters, and the asylum/city weren't big enough.

I liked gliding around in Arkham City, though, but there really wasn't anywhere to go. I was hoping there would be dark and hidden locations with a lot more enemies. For an open world game, there wasn't very much content. Gravity Rush is another example of a big city with very little to do. Arkham seemed pretty empty to me.

I liked ARkham Asylum more than City, mainly because it reminded me of a platformer with how you explored the island. I just found the city to be overwhelming and I felt like I did not get used to it like I did the Asylum
