Cannot wait. March is going to completely decimate my wallet. I'm curious: have their been previous, um..."Marches" where there were as many high profile titles released?

Not this gen that I can think of. My friends and I in high school were always disappointed their were no games for the summer over the past few years. Figures when I am out of high school with few friends that play games often still a whole bunch of games are coming out. There are usually a couple of good games coming out in Q1 but rarely is there this many with so much variety and a game that can be a very popular online game. Most of the time they release action games and JRPGs after the holidays due to all the big AAA shooters and other franchises, which rarely are huge profile titles. I think in 2010 Darksiders, Bayonetta, and Dantes Inferno all came out in in the first two months of the year. Even last year the big titles for Q1 were Ni No Kuni and DMC, and all FF13s (iirc) came out in Q1

This feels like the epitome of a 'tepid take'. Dark Souls has always worn its gothic horror influences on its sleeve, it isn't exactly subtle.

Dark fantasy, I'd say.

Horror is a bit much. Bloodborne is closer to horror.

gold_drake229d ago

mh ur right actually.

dark souls plays around with horror themes without being a straight "horror" game.

bloodborn definitely starts out as that haha.
