Simon O'Neill of Unigamesity.com shares his in-depth opinion of the top 5 things other video games should take from Dark Souls.

A Bandai Namco job listing hints that an unannounced fighting game may be in development, sparking speculation about SoulCalibur.
Better be Soul Calibur. I need my weapon based fighters too not just martial arts like Street Fighter and Dead or Alive
Considering Harada's comments on the last Soul Calibur, I'd be pleasantly surprised if it did turn out to be a new one. I'd say it's more than likely some fighter based on a big anime IP.

Bandai Namco will announce a new RPG on March 5 at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET, the company teased. You will be able to watch the announcement on YouTube.
There is now a short clip in the video. Not anime style graphics anymore? I think it is not Tales game, but Sword Art Online related?

Brandon writes: "I could find you 10 companies that have pitched a bloodborne sequel, spinoff, or remake, including my own. It's just not going to happen unless fromsoft decides they want to do it."
Everyone was criticizing Sony for not pushing for the BB remake. Turns out they gave it the green light. The original still holds up really well
Man this just fucking sucks, I respect Miyazaki and Shohida's wishes, but Bluepoint would have been the perfect studio to take on a project like a Bloodborne remake. It's still an absolute masterpiece, but the performance and frame pacing could easily be solved on the current hardware now.
I would add :
- Difficulty is fun
- Art direction can be more important than high-res textures and 99 fancy post-processing effects
- You don't need tons of dialogue and cutscenes to make a great story
Great article. Looking forward to Dark Souls 2.
Dark souls/demon's souls are the gems of the generation. and I love the fact that they're sticking to their guns in how they are making dark souls 2
+1 Exari
Dark Souls is one of the best games I've ever played, yet alone best of last gen.
The only thing that pains me to no end is the lack of announcement for Dark Souls 2 to be ported to next gen consoles.
