i look at my 360 and i just am not getting that excited anymore.i think ultimately that blame falls at the feet of microsoft.gears will be great but im not expecting any suprises, maybe too human will be the sleeper.i have to believe with microsofts track record of sales with familt friendly software, that banjo will bomb sales wise.i just dont see the cod 4 and halo crowd pre ordering that game

This is stupid. Banjo will be released November and guess what's coming November? GoW. They'll once again just promote GoW and forget the RARE title which (IMO) REALLY deserves it.
I hope people realize that RARE is trying out something new and original and support the game!!

This is only MS lineup, how many games did MS publish last year? What like 5? Yet the 360's lineup killed every one else's, so before you dismiss the 360s lineup wait until E3 and the third party announcements, and I may be talking like this about the 360 but I mean it on all fronts, PS3 and to a lesser extent the Wii, just wait until all the cards are on the table for 08 before you dismiss any lineups.

Banjo will suffer from being released during the same time frame as Gears of War 2. What are Microsoft thinking in regards to this? Other than that its a very vibrant lineup with titles to suit all tastes.

This is what I mean when I say don't know why the hell Microsoft even bothered acquiring Rareware from Nintendo. I read every post above mine and virtually everyone focused on either Gears of War 2 or Fable 2. Only 3 people above me even mentioned Banjo Kazooie. I'm not a huge Rare fan by any means although I do enjoy their games like Kameo (probably one of the few 360 owners here that even plays it). Nintendo should have kept Rare as their games were perfectly at home on Nintendo consoles as well as appealing to the perfect audience. I mean, hell, Donkey Kong Country on SNES was perfect on that console. I don't know, it just seems to me that Rare's games get nearly completely neglected in favour of Microsoft's own series.

Only 360 title I'm insanely excited for is Gears of War 2. And maybe fable 2, heard the original one was pretty good. But come June 12th, the PS3 is going to be working overtime.

1) When a person's 360 decides to get the fricken RRoD , then maybe that person loses all faith in that hardware and Micro$oft, that they'ed much rather have a console that actually works fine (THE PS3!). And w/o having to worry if they won't be able to turn on their 360 every time they go to hit the darn power button.

2) Not only is Sony's console is more reliable, but it also has free online, which despite what many 360 fanboys will say, has an outstanding online service! And DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED on HOME!

3) You pay for what you get. And I don't think anyone will argue (or can argue) that the PS3 is a MUCH, MUCH SUPERIOR console in almost everyway! I don't think I have to name everything the PS3 has, that the 360 doesn't have. UNless you want me to.

4) The Variety of games for the PS3. When you really take time to think about it, about ALL of the 3630's main AAA titles are shooters in one form or another . With the PS3 you get much more types of games to choose from, that range from all types of genres! In this year alone, Sony has LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Sold 4, Gran Turismo 5, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, InFamous, Hot Shots Golf, Tekken 6, 8 Days, Haze, Sing Star, and that's not even mentioning the small casual games you can purchase from the PS store, AND ther's still more HUGE games I forgot say. With the PS3 you get POWER and VARIETY, all in a lttle black box.

Micro$oft's line-up is looking very, very weak compared to the PS3's. And the wii's line-up is the worst out of the 3. PS3 has the games now!

Gosh - Fable 2 might be the only 360 game I get for the rest of the year.

I see alot of people saying well theres nothing on the list that says wow I need to buy a 360, well what on the ps3 or wii list screams wow I need to buy one of those consoles. I own the ps360 so Im happy but Theres nothing that screams buy a ps3 . MGS4 doesnt ,personally I think its an aquired taste just like FF. Killzone 2 if it lives up to the hype should be good but i dont think r2 will be a system seller. The wii on the other hand has nothing. Are there system sellers on the 360 line up i dont know either.When it comes down to it mario, zelda, gta,halo, are system sellers. Also it depends o n what country you are from.

No offense to the 360 but all of their best game are out or coming to the PC so why get a 360 when you can either play it on a lap top w/ controller or a Computer.

It's May, November is 6 months away, and you think Gears should be postponed for fine-tuning? Have you played the finished game? Do you have a time machine? Cuz I'm curious how you know that it needs MORE fine tuning than it will already receive by it's release date...

And since when is 2 years "so close"...A consoles life cycle is about 5 years...2 years is more than enough time...

That being said, I agree that MS line up is weak this year, as it would be compared to last years...But it's not like Sony had a great year last year, or the first half of the year...Haze looks like garbage so basically you have MGS, Little Big Planet, and Resistance 2...All look amazing or great but that's hardly the killer line-up Sony fanboys have been championing as the year of PS3...I have one and it collects dust...

this line up is the weakest line up ever. Gears of War 2 is the only system seller. Heck, even Wii got a better exclusive line up then this and 2 of them of already came out.

This is probably the most well-rounded line up I have seen the Xbox 360 have. There seems to be something for everyone.

But Too Human looks like a beast of a game. I really enjoy those types of games. I hope my freind gets it.

I won't say this is the best lineup of any year, but NG and Gears 2 are enough for me. The only titles of any meaning coming to the POS3 are MGS and maybe GT5, which won't do as well as everyone thinks. The 360 doesn't need a ton of exclusive titles to continue pounding the movie machine. Alan Wake may sneak into 2008 and don't forget Left4Dead.

Good list of games, much better than anything Sony has to offer this year. Unless Resistance 2 gets excellent reviews, my PS3 is going to be collecting dust for a very long time.

The only games to look forward too is Gears of War 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2, everything is blah....I think that's it for MS though, all of their killer exclusives are out, ALL...PS3 has more exclusives than MS and will have a better year this time around..Though I am a little envious of you guys...
