Junkie Monkeys: Cole Mcgrath is obviously the original hero, and after the sudden change of protagonist in the new sequel, of course eye brows would be raised as to if Cole would ever return. We may have a answer from Sucker Punch...sort of.

From Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Batman: Arkham City to breakout hit Dispatch and new Marvel Cosmic Invasion, these are 10 of the best superhero games you can play today.

Huzaifah from eXputer writes, "My favorite type of genre in games is when enemies are merely animal fodder in the eyes of the protagonist's sheer power."

Fans of the action-adventure franchise have been eagerly awaiting news of a potential sequel to one of the best games on the PS4.
Umm ... how about this?
First we get the Tushima sequel(coz its most rumored)
Then a new Resistance (need new PS SP FPS)
Then a totally new IP (new IPs are always interesting)
And then a new inFamous?
I had a great time with the second son. Never got to play the originals and hope they get remastered one day.
If I had a choice between another Infamous game and another Spider-Man game, I choose Spider-Man. Sony should spend its resources on its winners.
Even though they said in the past a big fat "No" and how "Coles story was over and done with"....I knew they were probably lying, most likely to keep it a surprize to us.
The thing is they chose a new hero so they can use him as a way of pushing the story forward without Cole, in Second Son they've changed the world and set it in the future. If they did this with Cole they would have to fill in the blanks through the game of what he was doing in that massive gap or they would of most likely continued it right after the second game.
Least when they do inFAMOUS 3 they will be able to put Cole in a changed world which will serve as a new fresh setting which opens up more plot points, enemies, threats, locations etc
Seems pretty smart to me, plus you wouldn't just get rid of a much loved hero. They changed the voice actor for a mo cap actor in the second game aswell, why do that if you were going to kill Cole off for good.
I think we'll see him at the end of the game. Cole will either be still dead but Deslin or someone else will revive him with the help of Zeke. Another theory is that he will be alive and it will be revealed he did come back to life after the lightning bolt hit at the end of inFAMOUS 2 but because of the changing world and the government him and Zeke went into hiding OR the government took his body at the end of the second game and have locked him up experimenting on him and you'll help Zeke, who has been trying for years to help him free him.
Those are my guesses anyway
No keep him gone! or make a new full game of him.
The only way I could see it being possible, without a retcon, is if it's...

The antagonist from Infamous 1
or evil Cole
[/SPOILERS]
Hell yes! Cole is freakin awesome i didnt wanna even see him go in the first place!! That evil ending in infamous 2 should have been the real deal. Epic possibilities with that ending
How in the heck are they going to approach that plot hole? You can't bring back Cole without confirming a "true" ending to inFamous 2.
