Unless you haven’t cracked open the App Store or Play Store in the past couple weeks, you’ve probably noticed the game Flappy Bird sitting at the top of the free games list. If you have a social media account, you’ve probably also seen high score updates from your friends playing this game as well.
The new Flappy Bird game might have a very direct relationship to something unexpected. Cryptocurrency.
Hopefully this isn’t the next wave of games coming. The vultures and activists who hover around games are the ones that are ruining it. What am I saying? It’s already been ruined by all these remakes, gas, micro transactions and the like.
Golden era of gaming……..pre current generation
When a game released exclusively digitally disappears from distribution, it becomes impossible to play it legally. Actually, quite a few gems have disappeared in this manner, with the legendary P.T. being just the beginning of the story.

Using Overwatch Workshop, Thriver9 has created an Overwatch rendition of the popular Flappy Bird game.
It'a just the next Temple Run/Angry Birds/Candy Crush.
Its clearly running on cry engine 3, the bird is just so damn real.
It's addicting. If you have 3 and a half seconds to kill, you can hop on it and play.
I watched a few people play it today and its basically a good time killer when your in public. Certainly not the kind of game gamers could ever take serious but if your waiting in a long line and looking to kill some time it aint so bad.
I have gotten a high score of 39 and even accomplishing that felt like I sold my soul to the devil.
