Bill Lavoy (Prima Games): The excitement regarding Titanfall's upcoming release is undeniable. Ever since the announce trailer at E3 2013, Vince Zampella and the crew at Respawn Entertainment have seen their game hyped to an extreme level. Part of that hype is credited to Zampella's track record, having played a big role in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, a game that set the table for the Call of Duty era we are still a part of today. Still, the anticipation for Titanfall seems to be about more than track records. With every new trailer or bit of news, it feels like we're about to enter a new era in the first person shooter genre. With that in mind, here are five game-changing features that will push the multiplayer envelope further than we've ever experienced.

In a simple and concise post on Twitter, head of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella responded to fan requests for a Titanfall x Helldivers 2 crossover two love heart emojis, praising the idea.

Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
Did nobody play Starhawk?!?
Titanfall might be the best multi-player title of 2014, but everyone keeps saying it's the first of its kind. That annoys me.
I fell off the Titanfall hype train when the LOW player count was revealed PLUS Titanfall is being made with the X360 in mind so it will be HELD BACK in terms of using Next Gen technology but still looks OK.
BUT it's 2014 and time to push technology especially for all those who just paid $400 or $500 for new consoles.
Nothing like New technology and a bunch of games with 2005 gameplay.
looking forward to Titanfall 2 and it's NEXT GEN approach.
