Definitely, the sooner the better. I can't wait for this game I have it preordered at walmart, but I might have to cancel if the beta is for gamestop preorders. After the beta I can't wait to hear what the haters come up with next. As much as some people want to think getting it on pc is a dig at XB1, your still supporting the company you supposedly hate. GO XB1, PREPARE FOR TITANFALL.

Awesome...today has been a great day filled with some exciting X1 news. One of my favorite franchises in Gears of War now being confirmed its in development for X1 and this beta confirmation for a great new IP in Titanfall. I got to let a few of my fellow co workers who don't follow the latest news know whats up with Gears and "that Titanfall game" is going to have a beta.

@ Mikey 94, leaked info indicates it's 02/14/2014 - 02/19/2014 and a gamestop preorder gets the access. Hopefully it's just open for those platforms without a preorder.

Beta is tied to EA Origin/XBL so you can access it regardless of where you pre-order it.

As far as supporting the company you supposedly hate thing goes. I like EA honestly. They make shit sometimes, but their games are fun at times as well. I grew up with EA classics before they turned into big publisher and things changed. Titanfall could be EA's very own Call of Duty. They are limiting themselves with a Microsoft platform restricted launch.

Microsoft gets no extra money for a PC title sold on the Windows platform that I know of at the moment. I don't see how this supports them if that is what you are suggesting.

It's not just about looking better. It's a fast game, keyboard and mouse is just going to be the way I want to play.

Funny how input devices that were designed to navigate a desktop environment are still yet to be surpassed by devices designed for and dedicated to gaming.

There was a rumor mid last week that said this would be announced. The same rumor said that the dates of the beta would be Feb. 14th -19th. Take that for whatever it's worth. I just hope it's at least a full week.

I would like to get into it, if only to try before I buy. I've never taken to all that many competitive online games, truthfully. The ones that I do take to, however, end up eating up much of my free time.

I'm glad it is finally confirmed but I hope they release some more news soon. We knew this was probably going to happen. Now I just need to know when it starts and how many maps/modes are in it. I am so ready for this

Where are the people that was saying the Alpha was the Beta. Just once i would like to see somebody come on here and say i was wrong. Then I say, about what? then they start to list all the crap that sony fanboys have been wrong about since May. I was going to list them but it would take too much time
