DarkZero: I can't say a game ever made me sick, motion sick I mean, loads of games have turned my stomach in other ways though! However, it is a problem for many gamers, and if there was ever once game I felt a bit iffy about it would have to be the upcoming Mirror's Edge. Don't get me wrong, it seems like a fantastic idea, and should be another highly impressive game from the guys at DICE, but the idea of running, kicking, spinning, and leaping around parkour style all from the first person perspective is enough to get our lunch ready to make a nasty reappearance.

Former Visceral Games devs reveal Dead Space's marketing budget was cut in favor of Mirror's Edge because of mock review scores.
I wish EA would just release a DS2 remake. DS is my favorite horror game and DS2 is the best one in the franchise. But because DS1 failed to meet certain numbers EA scrapped the DS2 remake. SH2 remake was great rumors are Konami might be asking for another SH remake. The RE2 remake was great EA just needs to give it another try. But all they seem to do is shitty sports games that are no different from the year before. Change a few players, add different uniform colours, maybe change a team logo. Wash, rinse, repeat.
I bought Dead Space during launch window and I never bought a Mirror's Edge game .

It seems that in Season 4, DICE has snuck in a Battlefield 2042 Mirror's Edge Easter egg in the new Flashpoint map.

GF365: "There are some games with extraordinary visuals that impress us to this day. Here are old games with outstanding graphics."
I always thought the first 3 Gears of War games looked great and still hold up for today.
Far Cry 2 was awesome. In addition to having demonstrably better physics and AI than later games in the series, it had a lot of design decisions that, criticized at the time, have since been praised in games like BOTW and Dark Souls.
It might not be super amazing by today's standard but I thought Mgs3 looked really good
made me puke. Graphics were awesome. Gameplay was great. I got on top of a crashed airplane and was looking over a cliff, and ran to the bathroom and barfola. Cloverfield made me sick. I almost had to leave the theatre. I watched the Mirrors Edge trailer and didn't get sick. I saw Blair Witch in the theatre when I was younger and didn't get motion sick.
BTW... I have a 46" HDTV hanging on the wall and was sitting about 5 feet away while playing HAZE. Am I too close or something? I sit closer to the tv while playing COD4 and never get sick. What is the deal?
Somebody within in the project (high up, director or something) has a problem with the sickness a game like Mirror's Edge can cause. It's not motion sickness but has the problem where moving images causes a sickness (can't remember the name). However, he has no problems playing the game. They added a target to the middle of the screen to stop the porblem happening and apparently it's a fix. So, there you go! :D
cause i think this game can be great
If you are prone to motion sickness, don't play ME.
I think I will wait for a demo as I found myself a little disoriented just watching the trailer. Maybe it won't be so bad with a controller in my hands, but the camera does swing around quite a bit. I hope I can manage this game, though, because it looks great. More companies need to incorporate this type of innovation into their products. Truly unique and thumbs up to DICE.
