Loving the new update, but I do wish the trophies where retroactive and at this point my PS4 account is better than my PC one. What can I say, I really love this game.

It might just be the increased traffic from the operations that are going on. I can say, and I have been playing at least once a day, that the framerate has been HUGELY improved. I went about 2 hours last night without a hitch. Even the physics effects finally work correctly.

I didn't even know the game didn't have trophies. I thought this was a stipulation to bring a game to Sony platforms.

It is a stipulation but i think its an exception with F2P games.

And i think you might be right about the frame rate but now it tears like crazy and the frame rate still has that stutter to it

I think that a LOT of people simply did what you said. They pretty much popped in the game, grabbed a random frame, and started playing...without doing the research required to really understand the game. If you did that, I could fully understand how you wouldn't enjoy the game. However, IF you did the research and understand what to do (even better if you grab a couple of friends), it's a really fun game. People always complain about content, yet this game is FULL of content and F2P with devs that are continually addressing the issues. Yet, it's garbage??? I would say that is REALLY too harsh. The game is not perfect. But, it's "bigger" than any retail release right now and you don't have to pay for DLC. The only real negative is that you have to kind of research the back story and really dig into the WIKI to completely understand how to build your frames and weapons correctly.

Much like what you and Iceman said, this is not the kind of game where you experience everything it has to offer in an hour or two of gameplay. It has a tremendous amount of content for new players and every two months or so they have a massive content patch to bring old players back in for more. It isn't perfect, and there are still things I'm not entirely happy with, but then that is also why it still is considered a beta. Every week new content gets added to the PC version, and from the sound of it, pretty soon they're implementing that same update frequency on PS4.

Mind you, all of this updated content, and 95% of the content in the game in general, can be acquired without paying into it at all. I personally have a good 300+ hours clocked in it and I've been playing since the 1.7 update back about a year ago. So I'm a fan of it, but I'm also more than willing to discuss the game's flaws and how things could be improved. To be calling it "industrial waste", especially without citing what was disliked, well that's just pointless.

And that sentiment really goes for any game. Don't just state that it's trash, or that you don't like it. That accomplishes nothing and just will irritate fans. Discuss it. State what you had problems with it and/or how you think it could be better, and maybe we can collectively improve the overall course that dialogues tend to take here on N4G. You don't have to love every game, just don't bash it without a reason.

That is true, so there should be no problems like you said, unless someone has messed-up really badly.

Exactly. And nope, it was never a P2W title, and from what I understand, it will remain that way as well.
