Can't wait Love RE4 so PC version even better!

MehmetAlperTR4506d ago

Too late. The Evil Within already anounced for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Shinji Mikami rules.

Marcello4506d ago

OMG !!! can this be true ?? a proper proper HD version ?? i hope all the Ada cutscenes are rendered aswell as thats never been seen before.

Not gonna too excited about this untill i see more but the 60fps has me drooling :P

DigitalRaptor4506d ago (Edited 4506d ago )

It's not. It's going to be another lazy port by Capcom. The exact same lazy port the PS3 and 360 received in 2011.

It's a good thing I had the patience to wait until it was 50% on PSN.

@marlec

This is nothing new, PC gamers already had HD mods for the game.

These sort of cheap tactics can work on the console crowd who dont have much BC options. Not the case with PC gaming.

Marcello4506d ago

@DigitalRaptor & Decrypt

yep i agree with wat your saying that's why i said i want to see more first but that said they are clearly promising 60fps & that would have taken some decent tweaking at the source to create.

The trailer doesnt look like some super duper version thou so hopefully we will see some footage soon. Also it looks like its been taken from the PS2 port which was very inferior to the Gamecube version which had dynamic lighting.

Here`s the description from the steam store page.

Stunning HD running at a smooth 60 frames per second for the first time.

A complete visual overhaul has been performed to bring this revered title to the highest graphical quality ever.

Fully optimized for the wide screen, texts have been sharpened and textures have been upgraded on characters, backgrounds and in-game objects.

Steam platform support with Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, Steam Trading Cards, global leaderboards, and full game controller support.

This new PC version will include everything from the prior iterations including subtitle support in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Japanese as well as previously released bonus content such as the Separate Ways epilogue.

I guess we will see come feb 28th

ninjahunter4506d ago

Hopefully with mouse support this time.

JohnnyTower4506d ago

$20?! Now that's how you release an HD version! I can't wait.

Yodagamer4506d ago

Any word on mouse support? That plagued the original pc version.

wtf, good thing I already played and finished the game when it came out

walken7106d ago

Once again hurting the people who purchase and support the game. Meanwhile pirates get the best version. Pathetic.

PRIMORDUS106d ago

There is already someone or a group called voices38, that has been cracking Denuvo games lately. Not the newest games, but getting there.

PRIMORDUS106d ago

I wonder if the pirated copies run better like this one titled here: "Resident Evil 4: Remake - Gold Edition (No Denuvo) (v1.5.0.0 + All DLCs + Bonus Content + MULTi14) (From 50 GB)"

Furesis106d ago

i don't think so? as far as i know even pirated version have denuvo or whatever runing in the background, they just trick it to say that yes this is a legit copy or just skip that process, but im not 100% sure. regardless this is an endless battle where legit consumer "suffer" sometimes. it's not that big of a deal MOST of the times and i understand publishers not wanting people to get access to their games for FREE so, i cant blame them honestly. i do find it odd that they wouldn't just remove DRM completely considering most people already played it? not like they are getting more sales anymore, just lower the price remove DRM but i guess thats why they still have it because they dont want to lower the price. oh well

A perfectly acceptable excuse to pirate the game.

Why would you accept to pay for the game in order for it to install software you don’t want with the intention to make your playing experience worse. Paying for that would be the very definition of stupid.

I’m not against DRM but if it negatively effects a product you’re paying for. Then it’s on them not you.

You know I would have liked this if it was added on for free. A nice substitute for Assignment Ada.
