And your comment about power ups inherently removing the need for skill is BS. Unreal, Halo, Quake, Team Fortess, hell, even golden eye etc all have had such power ups and were still big on the competitive gaming front. It's all about balancing.

If by perks you mean custom loadout, then no. But it did have powerups that gave temporary advantages.

Perks only remove the need for skill if they are unbalanced. COD perks are notoriously unbalanced, but it isn't the mere existence of perks that take away the need for skill.

In a well designed game, perks come with a trade off. I haven't played titanfall, so I don't know how well the loadout options are balanced. But , presumably, you haven't either...so you shouldn't be making blanket statements.

Again, I play all sorts of shooters, including realistic military shooters. I used to play a lot of SOCOM, Ghost Recon, rainbow 6 and counter strike. I survived just fine. But a game doesn't have to be realistic to require skill. Different styles of games simply require a different sets of skills.

Become a soldier and fight, in a relatively small arena, in a 6 vs 6 battle to the death using only modern military weaponry! I don't think you will survive!

It's a freakin game. No one claimed CoD to be a realistic simulation nor find they say the same for BF3 or Titanfall.

There's no skill in Mario games because Mario doubles in size when you eat a mushroom. When you eat a flower you can throw fireballs. The power ups kill skill. /s

titanfall £40 with a £12.99 map pack every 3 months until the last one is released maybe a year or two after release then ea will drop it like everything else!

I hope so EA is on my sh!t list after bungling BF4. Ill be picking Destiny up on the PS4 when it drops. Titanfall on Xbone and Destiny on PS4

I'm not cheap, I have enough money for an Xbox one and have a PC. But let's see, Xbox 360 has over 76 million consoles while xbone has 3.1 million sold. Xbox 360 does have dedicated servers for it. Xbone, 360 and PC will all use the cloud for servers, respawn already said they would.360 version will sell the most alongside the PC. A beta should be held on all 3 platforms. Current gen won't be any different from next gen except for graphics and they won't be much better on next gen considering they started the work for it on 360 and moved it to xbox one. Do your research before posting bull**** facts that aren't true.
