Lost Planet multiplayer was great, I've been kind of on the fence about Titanfall but this thread has brought back those memories of how fun "vertical" gameplay can be.

It would have to have monsters to be Lost Planet. Non human enemies.

Disappointed that Titan shootouts are basically just weapon spam the first to run out gets killed, strategy is basically to outnumber, don't see any other thing involved, a proper FPS should apply strategy and skills to overcome numbers, Titanfall is so far just mindless skirmishes

XD, newmonday, I know you hate the fact that the game looks good, but really. Titanfall is about outmanovering your opponent. Both in Titans and on foot. You can catch this off other vids. Not just trailers with **** players trying to play Titanfall likes it COD. Most of the Alpha vids i've seen has everyone running around like a bunch of idiots. Not using cover and only using the boosters to climb up to high areas.

They have no skill skill in other words. Reminds me of Halo, when players run towards each other unloading and them some **** dominates the two of them without them even knowing he was there.

Titanfall is all about movement and short term tactics - in other words, being a sneaky **** and using wall running, staying in the air and staying AWAY from open areas is how a foot solider works in this game.

If you know there an enemy in the building in front of you. Which route will you take? Will you play it like cod and walk through the front door? Or will you use the roof or windows to get in? All i've seen is terrible players in these vids who won't even use standard tactics that come with every FPS. Let alone something that lets you move around without touching the ground.

Edit - Yeah NewMonday, THERE ARE TITANS in the open areas, why the **** would a soldier go out in the open like that? Because they're stupid thats why. As I said, there is no cover in the open, ground troops shouldn't go there. Simple as that.

Also, Titans have a side jump for maneuvering and various other abilities. I mean, i'm sure you know that already. But hey...keep at it..the trolling I mean. If it makes you happy. Clearly annoyed that you don't get to play Titanfall

Their is no maneuvering in those Titans all we see is someone blowing their load to kill then getting killed by someone else, and there is little cover in the field for soldiers, only places to hide in buildings, this is to make them easy targets on the open fields, everything in the bad game design reeks of catering to noobs and making them feel good no matter how fake this is to serious gamers.

It's a westernized Lost Planet in first person.

Can we stop all the hate?? this game is going to be BIG as in generation defining for FPS's, and im sure that if it was coming to PS4 like all the fanboys thought it was then all of you would be praising it, your all hypocrits (the fanboy sony shills i mean)

Your just wishing at this point, the actual game is nothing like we are made to believe, many videos are out now and are nothing like you say, promise is one thing delivery is another, the original trailer appears now to be a misdirection similar to the AliensCM demo.
