No email for me, I guess I didn't get in, unless they are sending them in waves.

I thought this was a scam?

hankmoody4507d ago

No, people were HOPING it was a scam. They know who they are. I got in myself but I'm at work, so no Titanfall alpha for me until about an hour and a half from now.

MRMagoo1234507d ago

Why in the hell would ppl care if an alpha of titanfall was a scam or not ?? I cant think of one person that would want it to be a scam, i really dont see what you are trying to point out here.

@MRMagoo123

As soon as I posted up that I signed up on another article on here, several N4Gers jumped on to tell me I had been scammed. No proof of such and complete ignoring of the fact that had it been a scam, EA and Respawn would have warned people across the internet not to sign up. The fact that these people were so eager to tell me I had been duped translates to me as something they wanted to be truth, i.e. anything to knock Titanfall down a notch.

Secondly, in regards to the more die hard Sony fanatics on here, you really think it's a stretch to say that they want this game to fail? The XB1 has quite a bit riding on this game. It's a huge exclusive with a lot of eyes on it, and its big enough that EA stock is actually climbing because of it and the game is being looked at as a potential system seller. The way I look at it, most of the negativity towards this game is coming mostly from the more devout followers of the Sony church.

I thought it was too from reading an article on here. Could have registered the minute it went up, but ended up waiting until the next day. Didn't get into anything

famoussasjohn4507d ago

Lucky. I'd say let us know how it goes, but don't want you to get in trouble due to the NDA. Hope you enjoy what you can play in the alpha.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
