The Elder Scrolls Online, WoW Killer?

The most recent stage in the beta testing of The Elder Scrolls Online (TESO) has now finished, and has left players with a sense of what is to come closer to the release date in April, but what does the latest title in the Elder Scrolls franchise have to offer in comparison to other MMORPG's this year? After 10 years of domination, being a "WOW" killer isn't that impressive.
Blizzgods.

LOL

The next dumbed down Elder Scrolls bugfest will kill it's developers and publishers before anything else.

Except it's not as bad as you'd like it to be.

WoW players are laughed at by the rest of the gaming community.

And the gaming community is laughed at by the rest of society. So what?

Get over yourself.

Did you even play the beta ive been in 3 times and i love the game. The only question for me now is end game. Because questing is just like skyrim in single player.

Heisenburger4505d ago

I've never been a WoW player, but I know how big that game was/is. It'll eventually die out simply because it ran it's course. I don't think any one game could take it down. Just time.

Blizzard released WoW with brilliant timing, and they've taken care of it like a kid growing up. Sure, they had a few parenting issues (terrible patches), but it was great.

Plus, they had the whole RTS / Hack & Slash fan base to back them up.

Based on personal experience and, seemingly, the thoughts of many others who got to try this early . . . hell no.

After all years warcraft has been out with HUGE fanbase No game will dethrone WOW and from a player doesnt play WOW but played many others.
Even i know wow is just got too huge for anyone try dominate.

Linwelin4505d ago

WOW killer ? Titan maybe ?

Vegamyster4505d ago

I played the Beta for 2 hours and lost interest, it feels very generic & shallow so far.

webeblazing4505d ago

thats not surprising they only made it for a quick buck.

AnotherProGamer4505d ago

Why would they spent 200 million on a quick buck?

webeblazing4505d ago

why are ms in damn every market? if you got the money its not hard to test the waters. they know how popular skyrim was they are try to cash in. your saying it like you cant have an expensive thats poorly done. yall keep on thinking the big publishers are always do things for their fanbase and not for money.

I call bS i been in the beta 3 times and this games first 2 hours is way more fun than any mmo to date. Its very story heavy and plays just like a elder scrolls game. And its alot more fun than WOW's starting area by far. This game while playing solo plays just like skyrim.
