Mike from Awesome Games writes: 'The purpose of this list is to give you an insight into 5 games from my personal collection that not a lot of people ended up playing. Which is a great shame, because these games are genuinely brilliant – all in their own special way! Now before you read on, I just want to clear up that most of these games aren’t PlayStation exclusives but they are all available on the PS3. So if the PS3 isn’t your preferred weapon of choice, please feel free to read on, as some of these games will also apply to your favoured gaming platform.'
Whether due to publisher deals gone sour, licenses expiring, feuds between developer and publisher and other reasons entirely, there’s a wide range of games that you just can’t buy digitally anymore.
No One Lives Forever 1+2 is on Internet Archive for free.

Torrents are there. I actually have the original CD's from NOLF 2, never going to part with them.😁
I still have my PS3 copy of Spec Ops, Battlefield Bad Company 1&2 & Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1/2.
Planning to replay those and a few others, but the controls feel so loose now compared to modern games.
Change the title to: Amazing Games That Have Been Abandoned by Stupid Publishers Who Don't Care About their Legacy, so You Should Pirate and Enjoy them.
Okay, maybe that title was a bit too long. 😅
I missed out on the chance to buy BFBC1 on Xbox and I just want to kick myself silly. One of the best PS3 experience of my life. The feeling, impact, sound design of this game was leagues better than BF games that followed

Saddle up your horses, boys. Let's gallop on through this list of the best cowboy games you can play on the PS3.
The great thing about being one of the most popular consoles of all-time is that there’s always more underappreciated bangers to spotlight.
I love Enslaved such a sleeper hit, Asuras Wrath a very good game I still own, and I wish EA would put out a new Dante's Inferno another game I enjoyed. I never heard of the Rain game I might have to try it out might give Ebay a snoop or two.
enchanted arms and folklore most definitely.
theres also a game about a red haired guy and a girl who is a sword or something. good game
I didn't look over any of them.
Asura's Wrath was meh. It was epic scale with a small feel. It could have been much better.
Catherine was brilliant. I just wanted more on the game play side of things. I honestly could have gone without the dream sequence game play. I like the contents of the dreams, but don't make them simple puzzlers you get from a phone game. :/ More of a Shenmue thing would have been great. Or even a JRPG where you wander around town.
Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is ok. Nothing special. Just like the rest of the series.
Spec Ops: The Line is one of the best written games of the generation. I'm pretty sure most people have played it though, since it was on Plus.
The Unfinished Swan was creative and fun. I hope everyone gets to play it.
Jetpack Joyride is also fun. I have been playing it on my phone for months.
Catherine was an amazing game I ended up beating it 6 times but those puzzle got pretty damn hard!
Catherine is one of the best games i played this gen. Still sad that no list ever listed Valkyra Chronicles.
