CastleStorm is the Tower Defense/Physics puzzler amalgamation that appeared on Xbox Live and PSN mid last year. Now it has made its way to the Wii U with a few exclusive additions. Sadly these additions don't make the experience much different from the originals.
Tower Defense games have you spending your accrued resources to deploy troops and other objects to defend your base require quick thinking and immediate responses. Physics puzzlers are on the opposite end of the spectrum and often require patience, concentration and a keen eye.The amalgamation of these two genres creates an experience that is a lot less fun than the sum of its parts and frequently leaves you feeling like you are rubbing your stomach and patting your head at the same time.

Now available on Nintendo Switch, CastleStorm is a light-hearted take on the tower defence genre, and it’s fantastic.
I almost want to get this. I've played Castlestorm before on the Vita, and it was pretty good.

Zen Studios’ Castlestorm makes its way to Switch, polishing gameplay from a number of other games and bringing in its own humorous writing to tie everything together.

From Nintendo Everything: "CastleStorm is coming to Switch, Zen Studios has announced. The mashup of 2D physics destruction and tower defense brawler hits the eShop on August 16. Here’s some additional information about the game and a trailer: Raze castles and conquer your rivals in CastleStorm on Switch."
this game is fun especially on the wii u
This review is full of sh** this game is a 8/10 at worst....
I agree, its a fun game, an 8/10 at worst. The Wii U visuals I think are crisper and brighter I feel than its older cousins. Add in the few new Wii U features and be sure to add the DLC and it should score higher....this guy just didnt like it / get it....and just says it sucks. Fail. It's a good game even more at its $10. price.
