If there is a genre that has lost momentum in the last generation was that of Japanese RPGs, until the giant Final Fantasy lost ground, paving the way for the explosion of Western RPGs like Skyrim, Mass Effect or Dragon's Age. This caused that many never thought that Bravely Default came to the West, but this happened and the fantastic catalog of 3DS just got even better. Despite the childlike, Bravely Default can be quite serious and dark.
Bravely Default 3 could come to fruition as series producer Tomoya Asano has indicated in a new interview that the series will continue.
Bravely Default 2 was a step backwards compared to the first two games. Story was not nearly as good, quality of life features reduced to bare bones nothing. The grinding required is about 10 times worse then previous games. I have no idea who was behind the ideas but they basically went. What made the first games so great. Okay remove that.

Just release this game already, I played the demo for more than 10 hrs. Great stuff, very impressive visual, art and music direction, with truly excellent and deep battle system. Jrpg dream come true at this day and age!
