Very much so, and I sure hope so. I do recall that people pointed that out for System Shock as well (I think that problem has been solved now).
I just downloaded it on my phone a few weeks ago and the framerate isn't bad if you set it to 60hz. I suspect the switch 2 version should fair better interms of performance.
It's originally a game released in 2013, obviously a lot has been changed since, but still the base code for this game was in development before at least 2011, which means that thing was probably going to run on PS3 and XB360 with a few tweaks, Digital Extremes just chose to skip into next gen... Someone would have had to majorly fuck up for the Switch 2 not to run Warframe smoothly, a game with 15 year old mid power target specs! It's a very light and optimized game by now anyway, it famously runs well on relatively old notebooks with CPU integrated graphics... Hell, even the mobile version manages to not run like ass.
That is true, so there should be no problems like you said, unless someone has messed-up really badly.
The game has received many quality of life updates since the PS4 days and receives content drops several times per year. The best part is that it is not pay to win.
It is a great way to unwind, but you will need to be active in the community to play this game. Most of the mechanics are explained by youtubers, forum posts and wiki pages.

I've put more hours into Warframe than any other game on my PS4. I wonder if Edge will change their tune/score when it gets released on the other console.
WF is brilliant. Some technical issues (frame rate drop) but will be addressed in the new update coming this month, but otherwise than that it's a great game. 300+ hours played, and looking forward to updates.
Only complaints is DE's lack of communication with the PS4 community. Hope they improve that aspect and hope we get updates / events quicker or more often.
