We know you all are ready to completely forget about that Alien title that came out last year and Creative Assembly is planning on doing it by making Isolation a game that makes you earn your artillery and ammo.
Recently, Alien: Isolation senior designer Gary Napper talked about how they were intentional in not allowing players to have powerful weapons at any one time. They want to make the players feel like they need to sneak around to try and gain more weapons.

An opinion piece on the best Alien games. From arcade Alien vs Predator action to a terrifying Xenomorph stalker, these are the best Alien video games starring Ridley Scott’s chestbursting, acid-blooded nightmare.
Aliens Fireteam Elite was my GotY in 2021, single player was kinda bad but playing that game 3 player with friends was so good and really challenging on higher difficulties
Massive shout out to Aliens Vs predator 2 (2001), a dialup lag filled fun mess in multiplayer and 3 great campaigns

Alien Isolation Grand Mother VR is an all new virtual reality experience for Creative Assembly’s best ever horror game.
I played through most of the PS4 version of the game but stopped because another game came out. I bought it last year for PC with the intention of using the VR mod but haven't gotten around to setting it up. I am glad I waited.
Great game, even better in VR. A little drawn out by the end, but I hope we see CA do something a little different with the sequel.
Sweet. I also rebought this game on Steam for the purpose of VR. I'll have to give it another shot w full immersive controls. I had only tried it out briefly before.
It's funny this was never officially released at retail as a VR game, bc it feels so perfect for it!

The Alien franchise has had a long history in video games, but few games have come quite as close to being perfect as Alien: Isolation.
I like what I am hearing... Sounds more and more like a survival horror. If they keep it that way then it would be awesome. They online mode could x that out, or have something where one player is randomly selected to be the alien until killed.
Omg yes yes yes yessssss
This is exactly the right way about this ,a non scripted Alien (i hope)to move around the ship hunting but attacks me because i fecked up through my own actions.
Scavenging to make items or completing tasks but making the least amount of noise or visual indication to the alien that someone is there will be epic ,running for your life to find some way of losing the creature .
This might turn out to be one of the best Aliens' game in existence!
Problem with this type of game is they tend to go with one extreme or the other. No guns, and it'll be too stealthy for most - even Res evil knows that. All guns blazing, and it'll put off the survival horror fans. Needs to be a balance, I think. Bit like the first dead space, but with System shock 2 tasks and Res evil survival elements.
