Sony Online Entertainment CEO John Smedley took to Reddit to clarify PlanetSide 2 subscription changes.Last week, SOE announced a change to PlanetSide 2 Premium subscriptions, revealing that by Feburary, the 500SC per month bonus given to members would be scrapped in favour of a new system, where every member would be given the opportunity to select an item worth up to 2000SC.
Planetside 2’s future is uncertain as the IP was sold for a relatively low sum to a company with no history.

PlanetSide 2 is going to be getting its next major expansion this December. This new addition, titled “Expedition: Oshur” will be the first addition in almost seven years to bring an entirely new continent to the game.
I like this. Especially if it covers cross platform.
