So the internet has been pretty vocal about their opinions on how Titanfall will only support 12 players with the game supporting 6v6 battles. Sure, I can understand some of the dislike towards that implementation, but I’m also totally for that approach. We’ll probably see a more tight, squad-based, and most likely a more tactical video-game and something to usher in a new era in the FPS genre.

In a simple and concise post on Twitter, head of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella responded to fan requests for a Titanfall x Helldivers 2 crossover two love heart emojis, praising the idea.

Popularized by Doom in 1993 and still making video game haters gnash their teeth today, first-person shooter games are the best thing to happen to gamers since pizza rolls. So here are 15 underrated first-person shooter games you may have missed.
Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.
Lol
All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.
XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games
I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
I doubt the game performance would be stable with 64 players are controlling mechs at once plus the other stuff happening
In all seriouness the main complainers are PS4 fans who probably weren't going to be playing Titanfall anyway. The best multiplayer console experiences I have had were with with smaller teams, Halo, COD4, Gears of War. Battlefield with 32 vs 32 is still slow paced, its about a balance of size and scope. All in all, I'm still preparing for Titanfall.
Why no option for 8v8 and 12v12...?
I could understand a ONlineoNLY with options,, but stuck at 6v6??? @'60$ -c'mon..
I think if they said two v two people would still defend it and people would still be upset. You could probably find someone who would play the game if the muliplayer was only one character and even people who would support 0 players.
so this game went from being nice sized maps, mech fighting and dropping in, people climbing up roofs, jumping everywhere, big battles, people jumping of out spaceships to tight, squad-based, and a more tactical approach.
