GameZone's Lance Liebl writes, "I'm almost 30. I've been married since 2007 and I have two sons, a four-year-old and one-year-old. While gaming was just taking off in the 80s, our children now are being raised with video games as a mainstream activity – one that is being celebrated in pop culture. My four-year-old, Colton, like many other children, is already into video games. It started with iPhones. It's like kids are born knowing how to use them."

I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
funny read. I have a 17 month old and I am looking forward to the day I can spend some time with him on my Wii U and eventually the PS4.
That was a good read and brings up some good points with video games. While we see the flaws and what games can't do, children tend to see the similarities to life in what they can. The world through the eyes of a child. I wish to God I could experience that all over again. What a great time it was.
My son turned 16 months on January 3rd. He only likes one television show, and that is Phineas and Ferb. But he loves to play games with me. At 9 months he was climbing up on the couch and grabbing at my controller. so I would give him my spare one, and he would hold it like he was actually playing! It didn't matter if it was my ps3, 360 or wii U He would hold each controller properly while looking at the screen not the controller. And soon after that he figured out that he wasn't really controlling anything on the screen, put the second player down to grab my controller. Then he learned to turn on the consoles with their controller buttons, which p, then he tries to play. But his thumbs don't reach the analogue sticks and he gets bored of just jumping straight up and down. My wife just sighs and says now i have 2 gamers.
OT: Like everything, we need to be moderate with our habits. Also we have to have standards. For instance we do not give our 10 years Tequila because it can cause damage to their underdeveloped bodies. Why do parents expose their kids to concepts that can be a problem for underdeveloped minds?
Shouldn t parents avoid showing television to children under 24 months?
Yeah I wont be letting my daughter play games I would rather she read a book maybe when she is 10 no phones or tablets either plenty of time for that crap.
