Youtube is filled with ppl who do ridiculous things for views. I didnt know what outlast was and i was trying to find a quick video to see how "scary" it was. All i saw were stupid ppl screaming just because they were on camera (i assume thats the reason).

This game looks interesting. Survival Horror is what got me into gaming. I'm not handy at PC gaming so im happy to see these games are going to start coming to PS4.

I'm not one to get scared easily as I was exposed to horror/gore movies when I was pretty young (thanks Dad for that one). However, Outlast did have several moments where the tension was actually quite high. Being chased by that psychotic doctor was one particular point. Not to mention there were a few jump scare points thanks in part to utilizing the dark / night vision camera so effectively.

Yeah it was, excellent game. Really looking forward to the DLC for it, which is not something I'd usually say with most games.

Both Outlast and Daylight were promised to be free on PSN Plus on PS4 mid 2014. Outlast is cool but Daylight is even better because the former uses the old Unreal Engine 3 and the latter is the first game to launch using Unreal Engine 4, moreover the game has procedural environments, monsters and event; nothing is scripted and whenever you replay the game, you get a different experience (an example: Spelunky).

PS: The makers of Daylight are those who made BlackLight Retribuition and they are friends with Outlast devs, however the game must not be mistaken with Dying Light, another type of zombie games.

well Outlast was still a gorgeous game regardless. Originally I thought Outlast was supposed to be using UE4, but it's just UE3 with some beautifully added shaders, lighting and mapping.

I am intrigued at what Daylight can bring, and I hope to god it's free on PS+.

Outlast just had some genuinely WTF creepy moments, so hopefully this can do more of the same.

Also cannot wait for The Evil Within.

At Detoxx, I read in a playstationlifestyle article (forgot the link), that Outlast on Ps4 will release in April 2014 and will be free on PSN Plus, it will aslo use the PS4 Camera to see if you are scared or not to change the gameplay based on your real life emotions (I am not 100% sure though whether it was about Daylight or Outlast, probably Daylight because it is procedural).

Visuals looked incredibly underwhelming, looks like a 360/PS3 game. Hopefully the final product looks better.

and why its bad for people to pay for indie games. indie games!!! people should want to pay for indie games more than big publishers. look at kickstarter even games that the devs want to come to vita and wiiU it ridiculous, saying you but we gotta get behind devs that think and know how gamers, think and want.

IT SUCKS. just stating i alway want to buy a good game and if i cant afford it right now i rather wait and give the devs my money later. just like when i missed the ps+ game i want and i come into money i buy that $h!t, mainly on sale or spur of the moment the least.

Until Dawn for $5 is a great deal. So are many other offers in that list.

Sorry you couldn't get Far Cry 5 for $10 on this sale or a free copy of Spider Man or God of War.

Daylight certainly has some tense moments, but ends rather abruptly.. its a bit of a small game compared to Outlast and Soma, not such a good story either.

I'd strongly recommend Soma if you haven't tried it yet

I'm not far into Daylight but I'd say Outlast is better. Still, I think Daylight is less than $4 right now for PS+ members so I'm happy with it.
