Video about Mike Cook's creation called ANGELINA. Software that creates video games all by itself without a human mind getting in the way.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Uhhhh.....i'm sorry but...WHAT?! O.O I will not stand here and be replaced by a computer as this will inevitably be upgraded and advanced to the point that triple A developers will not need the middle man type of developers. *puts on tin foil hat*
ANGELINA will never be able to replace AAA devs. It would have to make some HUGE, major advances over a LONG time to even become a threat to the AAA devs. It's a very nice concept and for what it is, it's very impressive....but it's no Skynet. LOL.
I wouldnt be too concerned about this software program, until it can produce games on par with next gen AAA titles.
Yeah, Im not seeing this machine make something like Bioshock infinite, The last of us, forza, guild wars 2 or the like
flash games might be good, but just not seeing it
I'm not really interested in the games, but it's really impressive tech, particularly because the AI gets a theme and is able to make the sound and graphics match that theme.
In terms of practical use, I can imagine it being used in some kind of game jam where developers get a randomly generated game and have to make the best out of it. Or maybe we'll get something like a warioware out of it?
could make good indie games after some time but not Triple A hits.
