omg, honestly....I'm speechless...

Wow i'm pretty amazed by how far the graphics have come since the last trailer of E3 2007! Seriously just take a look at the textures on the walls and ground, not to mention the lighting and particle effect! The motion blur adds a nice "movie" feel to it, man this game is lookin' mad crazy!!!

but it was true the hype in E3 2005.

Damn my router, won't let me open any ports. Fastest download speed I can get(if I'm lucky) is 115kbps, while I'm paying 70 bucks for 6mbps download and 512kbps upload. I hate living in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, currently averaging 25-40kbps for the download. Grr, may as well take a shower while I wait.

i couldn't enjoy it as much because of the idiot playing kept pressing the melee key.. freaking annoyed the crap out of me..

but the shooting looked extremely good.... the aiming system seems to be right on par with Cod4 which is great.. since he was aiming pretty fairly the controls seem really tight

That is looking really good. Hope to have some more enemies on screen but the particle effects, lighting and animations are just gorgeous. They've definately "colored" it up a bit from the last time I saw it, it was just too grey but now it looks amazing.

I really wish they would release that demo they are playing to the PSN. Even if it's short I would love to be able to take the visual feast in with my own eyes on my 60" screen.

Feb 09 is too long to wait.

its not even the graphics. There's a certain atmosphere that the game is creating that is absolutely insane. I can almost feel the cold day with rays of sunlight hitting certain places. The game's fluidity is art in motion.

Talk about a Geekgasm! The graphics are beautiful. Little to no framerate dips. I think I saw one at 0:47, but I could be wrong. I've never seen anything so realisitc looking. I... can't believe it! It was also awesome to see you revive a fallen comrade. The gameplay also looks similar to COD4. Today is a great day to be a PlayStation gamer!

After seeing how good KZ2 is, I want to see GeOW2. I haven't seen any confirmed GeOW2 gameplay, though the UE3 update demonstration was quite an eyecatcher. Still not as good looking as KZ2.

wow, truly amazing, simply gorgeous, the lighting is excellent, the art style is pure eye candy, motion blur and post processing is perfect, framerate needs some work though, it feels a little sluggish at points and takes away the immersion, so do environment textures, the walls and surfaces still seem flat and poorly detailed, these are the same complaints I had with E3 2007 footage, but all in all it's looking good, did i mention the marvelous lighting, I'm in love with lighting and art style, the sunshine reflections are beautiful, and this is coming from a pc gamer who plays Crysis on high settings, this game definitely gives every other console shooter out there a run for their money in the graphics department, Now all it needs are more detailed environment textures and a slightly higher framerate and BAM Crysis has a new rival for the throne, and believe me that means a lot, Crysis on high settings in glorious 1080p on a 40" distances itself from all other games currently and looks nothing like what you've seen on youtube or gametrailers or in screenshots

Edit:I'm probably going to get slammed with tons of disagrees for making criticisms from rabid fanboys but that was just my honest 100% observation and dare I say my graphical whoring standards are a tad higher than the average joe, And don't kid yourself with that pre alpha bullcrap, I bet 90% of you people don't even know the technical definition of a pre-alpha, the game has been in development for more than 4 years now, with only 9 months left to release, it should be in post-alpha-beta phase, otherwise say goodbye to the Feb 09 release date and I highly doubt that as it has been in anticipation for so long

This games gives a great sense of relief it's so fresh so explosive,as opposed to all the FPS jungle themes of late.
I like the industrial factory outer space feel and the effects are truly amazing!

Be careful, you have all been fooled by sony and the games they try to hype with the "OMG I can't believe the graphics" videos. And I have been wondering why sony fans are getting so hyped about this game? You have all stated at one time or annother that you don't care to play first person shooters that's why you don't like xbox. Seems a little funny that now you have the hopes and promice of a quality first person shooter on the way and you are all going crazy for what might be. And further more, what do you all c that makes this game look any better than COD4? or Rainbow 6 vegas.

Hey guys I think I missed the video of these amazing,"I've never seen anything look this good," video. I simply must be looking at the wrong demo. While the game looks good, I wouldn't say the game is completely mind blowing. I've said that GG would achieve the graphics or somewhere close to the CG render when the game was 1st demoed. The game for me at this point looks good. Revolutionary? No. Maybe because I've seen Call of Duty 4 already and to me its not that big of a leap. But in all fairness they have time to polish the game but I don't think its going to really make the graphics look better than CRYSIS on its highest level. I also believe it would have a bigger impression on me if they had better video quality to showcase. Anyhow I hope all turns out well gameplay wise and if it does,the ps3 will have another nice shooter on its hands. I say all this because I think that alot of people are on cloud 9 on this thread and not really being realistic. However I do think you'll have something to be excited about as a gamer.

I really didn't expect the game to look this good. The impressions I've read at IGN and GameSpot definitely don't hype it up as much as I personally would. And I didn't even get to play it. Just a decent-quality videostream and I can tell these graphics are incredible. The assault rifle looks so freaking realistic during reload, it's insane.

It looks like Call of Duty 4 times a million. I definitely didn't notice "too many crates" or whatever IGN said about it.

The objective completed heads up is really crisp, informative, and doesn't get in the way of the action. Pretty awesome.

I officially can't wait to play this game.

Sony really does need another mainline shooter franchise. They pretty much gave up after the PS3 generation, and I'm really surprised they haven't tried at another high-profile, singleplayer-centric shooter; even if it weren't Killzone or Resistance.

I miss Killzone while I can see why they still do Horizon has some really good things but I do think that Horizon is overrated imo.

Or how about studios focus on projects that they feel passionate about, and not be forced to make something they have little interest in. It shows in the final product.
