From the site - "Former Metal Gear Solid producer Ryan Payton quit the dream role of creative director on Halo 4 to invest his life’s savings in the risky prospect of making a console-like stealth game on a touchscreen. The resulting game, République, from his new studio Camouflaj is one of the most exciting new IPs in the market that delivers on its promise of a “triple-A” iOS game.
In a wide-ranging interview in Issue 0 of Grab It Magazine about his decision to risk it all on République, the talented developer reveals just how big studio culture doesn’t allow innovative titles to come to the surface. In doing so, he also makes some telling comments about the currently burning topic of customer data being leaked to government agencies:"

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD have been delisted from digital stores without warning.
Stupid headline. Should state that they are being updated or discontinued. This makes the crazy people that only read headlines think it some kind of conspiracy to take away peoples already purchased games.
If you want to all of a sudden own them now and haven't played them yet because a remastered is coming out, shame on you. I can't believe people are complaining about this 15 years later when it was bound to happen anyway. "A new remaster is out, quick, I'd better buy the original from the shop."
Gamers: "Physical? who needs physical? everyone knows that digital online games are the future. stop living in the past. we don't need no stinking disc drive"
Same gamers: "How dare the delist a digital game that I own!!!!"

Glenn Israel writes: "As of today and after seventeen long years, I am officially no longer contributing to the Halo universe. There is little more I can say for the moment, though I intend to share this particular story in its entirety when it is absolutely safe to do so next year. In the meantime, I have a message for anyone and everyone who needs to hear it.
I know that the state of our industry seems dire, but never forget that you are *free to choose*. No illusion of security nor promise of wealth or fame or power is worth trading away your health, your dignity, your ethics or values - and no one can force you to. Stay strong, take evidence when necessary, and find where you belong."
He said something very marking . We tend to complain a lot about the industry but deep down I realize that we never have we been offered this crazy amount of games all available for you to play now . You can literally play any sorts of games in 2025 . Nobody is forcing you to buy the latest COD or the latest BF . You’re more of a 8 bit cozy gaming guy there’s a whole niche of modern games for that . You like micromanaging there’s games for that . I feel like we have been spoiled so much we just stopped being realistic and thinking for ourselves . We follow trends cry about stuff online when you are the buyer you have the power .
....wth happened over there?
Does this confirm a new Halo by next year?
What did they want him to do that made him feel it was morally wrong or a insult to his integrity?
Well how about that, a name change doesn’t fix internal issues
Who would have thought

Lifetime sales of 343 Industries' first-person shooters, Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, reached nearly 10 million units worldwide each.
There were reports that Halo 4 and Halo 5 had similar sales to Halo: Reach years ago. The clickbait websites and rage bait YouTubers from 2012-2016 just wanted to spread excessive negativity about the franchise for their own benefit.
So let me get this straight in almost 13 years both games sold a combined 10 millions units.
Now I’m not going to use the obscured mentality and compared it to the amount of consoles sold and say it’s a failure 🤷🏿
Halo 4 is the best multiplayer ever! It’s even better than Titanfall 2. I admit Halo 4 got CoDified but there’s nothing wrong with taking inspiration from other games sometimes and halo 4 did it sooooo well with that speed boost plus sword combo and SAW plus damage booth combo, holy guacamole 🥑
Some crucial improvements to halo 4 could’ve been to boost the power of the AA sentinel, and whenever matchmaking pits people against each other with an armor abilities turned off completely then the map needs to routinely spawn, plentiful, predictable, power weapons. Also, all frame rate drops are unacceptable for a halo game during split-split screen or couch co-op. Just dynamically scale the resolution of the game down but whatever happens don’t let the framer dip in a Halo game for the love of all that is holy and good!
My personal gameplay of getting 30 kills in a 4 v. 4 game of team slayer up to 60.

Can someone go slap that US government in the face please... Why is the government over there so corrupt?
Sure, The one over here is the UK is crap but comparing it to the US... Well, You know what I mean...
For me, Microsoft choosing to bundle that camera with the Xbox One was a deal breaker. I love PlayStation and always have but if they would have made that PS Eye madatory I would have turned my back on them as well. I dont see how anyone could be attracted to those creepy cameras. You literally have a survellance camera in your living room monitoring your every move and bringing that data back to these companies. It amazes me that there are still people lining up for the crap, like a bunch of lab rats. When confronted they always say they have nothing to hide, but what they fail to understand is that the problem isnt about whats hidden but its whats not hidden. You may not be aware of it but there are thousands of agencies fighting and paying lots of money for your data, from simple browsing on the internet to mobile usage. Your data may not be valuable to you but it is to someone. With the data they get from those cameras if in the wrong hands could harm you in long run in ways that would never cross your mind.
All governments spy on there own people and on each other. Its alwasy been that way and it alwasy will be. I'm surprised that people are are so mad now about it. Ofcourse don't believe what Alex jones says hes a few frys short of a happy meal.
This would make a good Wii-U game since its touchscreen focused!
It really doesn't matter how you try to protect your privacy, it simply isn't possible. If you use modern technology at all, then you're already monitored, period.
So, what can you do? Have you ever lied? Have you ever twisted the facts to your advantage? Data can be collected, but it can't easily be verified if you are smart in what you do. As for the American government being worse than UK,it's not. Try a little research - look at the number of surveillance cameras in the UK or Walk down any city street in the UK and you will be monitored from one end to the next. You simply can't avoid being monitored, but you can avoid being targeted. Think smart, use your data collection wisely! :)
