Mike (from the gaming heretic) hopes he's not alone in admitting that he is sick and tired of hearing about this argument. He fully understands that people have their own opinions, but what is the point in arguing about something so insignificant?

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.

We don't have to choose because we own them ALL. We have access console exclusives, power of the pc, mods and crappy mobile games.
It's illogical to be honest.
It really makes no sense to compare the two; because they're designed different ways.
Consoles are machines that are OPTIMIZED for gaming. That's why they're called "video-game consoles". They have lightweight operating systems, streamlined to play games. Their inner components are usually customized - once again; for gaming. When a developer designs a game for the consoles; they can optimize their game to run at its best, because each person who has one has the exact same system.
PCs on the other hand - are fragmented. There are millions of PC owners - all who have completely different systems. They are all using machines with different kinds of operating systems and internal components. They're multimedia machines; designed to do a whole bunch of different things. Playing games is just ONE of those features. Because of that; they're OS' are bloated, designed to do a whole ton of things. They're full-scale; thus the reason why you need a really high-end PC to play most of today's games.
You can't compare the two. Why do you think developers prefer making apps and games for Apple products, versus Android? Because Apple products are close-nit and enclosed, like consoles. Android products are scattered and fragmented, like PCs.
Who has the bigger e-peen that's why... All this raging needs to stop...
Want cheaper games, mods, more mature community, customization of hardware, free online, better visuals, first to experience new technology (e.g. 4K, G-sync, Oculus Rift) and a constant stream of games with a higher initial cost go to PC
You want plug and play, simple to use gaming experience with all the triple A titles with a lower intial cost, go with consoles
It's all a matter of preference and I choose to own both.
There, world peace acquired.
@Zeal0us
LoL is one community, most PC gamers I've come across are usually older, most likely because I live in Australia and Australian gamers are usually in their 30s, while of course their are older and mature gamers on consoles as well, there's a lot of children as well.
G-sync will be releasing next year and there are already monitors available to purchase with G-sync in them...
Of course Oculus Rift is niche right now, it's not even out... But even if it's niche, it's a ground breaking technology with a ton of developer support.
I never really get the whole "PC Master Race" thing...sure you can have better looking games with max settings and the like but how many developers have taken advantage of the better PC tec out there....oh yeah none and you want to know why because developers don't see the point taking advantage of something on the PC which not every one has. Valve are branching out, Bethesda is focusing on consoles now aswell on the PC, Crytek have moved over to consoles as well as other once PC focused companies.
The problem with the PC is that you have people with different specs, graphics cards, gaming rigs in general....how can you take advantage of the best tec out there at the current time with your new game if not everyone has the same stuff. Least with Sony's and Microsofts consoles the company's consoles are all the same meaning a first party developer in that company can take advantage of the hardware since they know every single users console is the same...this also means gamers all get the same experience from whatever the developer makes, they don't have to worry about someone next being able to play because they have a different graphics card or they haven't upgraded enough.
