To that guy who said he loved FFXII because he got really good at the gambit system that he was able to drop his controller for every battle: everyone was "really good" at the gambit system because it was broken. Don't get me wrong, I liked FFXII but that was because of the storytelling and pretty graphics. The mindless battle system made it feel nonexistent.

It's either Dragon's Crown or Ys, Memories of Celesta for the PS Vita for 2013.
The Vita version of DC is much better, you can collect hidden item using the touchscreen which is much easier and the color are amazing on the OLED screen that supports over 16 Million colors.

That was me, and I wasn't really bragging, I was simply stating how impressed I was with the system itself. I didn't feel the battle system made it feel non-existent, but rather encouraged proper planning. I don't think I'm in an exclusive club. My apologies if I made it sound like that.

Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.

They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.

solideagle28d ago

they should know that we are OG fans of VIII as it sold truckload as well. not as much as VII or X. I personally didn't like IX but X and VI are my personal fav.

Shadow Hearts 2 covenant is another game I love. I hope one day someone can make remake, I would be delighted

Makes sense. It's been nearly 3 years since the DLC for 3 came out. The next Xenoblade or whatever they end up calling it will probably come out next year.

For me, Xenoblade 2 and 3 and Final Fantasy 7 remake and rebirth are the best JRPGs or RPGs in general ever made. Yes, they even surpassed Expedition 33 in my honest opinion. Before, the Tales series was among my favorites, but I was very disappointed with their last game, Tales of Arise. Its world has become linear and not as expansive as their previous games. Fortunately, its battle gameplay is still very good. I hope that in the next Tales game, they will expand the game even more.

Hoping for a new Xenoblade game from Monolith Soft in this year's Nintendo General Direct. And it should be a Switch 2 exclusive.

Yeah, Xenoblade 2 and 3 are amazing. I would have put Xenoblade 2 in first and 3 in second if I was ranking them.

Zeldafan64114d ago (Edited 114d ago )

The "worst" Xenoblade game is still better than 95% of games out there. Xenoblade 2 is my favorite rpg ever. All the Xenoblade games have incredible characters, soundtracks, voice acting, stories, world design and combat (save for Xenoblade 1 whose combat, while good, is not incredible).
