NetherRealm confirms its Mortal Kombat franchise has sold over 80 million copies in the last 30 years, and here's how it competes against other fighters.
Don't care what anyone says, Smash isn't a traditional fighting game. May as well call Powerstone and Playstation All Stars fighting games. They're more of an arena fighter /party game.
Including Smash Bros in a list of fighting games, is like including GTA in Racing games.

In away this hurts Nintendo Smash Bros has some dedicated fans. What better way to help build hype and sell more of the game then showcasing it at EVO.
smh. another looooong year for nintendo fans. this should have been a pre black friday release this year. that would have sold some systems.
I knew it wasn't going to be release in spring is too close to MK, it will most likely release in the fall before or after Bayonetta.

Sigh ... guess Project M will have to do.
Seems like Nintendo is spacing their games 3 months apart. Mario in November. Donkey Kong purposely delayed until February even though it is complete. Sorry Nintendo. I don't buy your excuse that "more time was needed to finish the title. Mario Kart in May. Then Smash Bros. in August. A major release in November. Maybe Zelda? Who knows. Yoshi's Yarn somewhere in between from March to November.
