That is a long list, but all accurate. At least from my play experience. Still having audio issues at times.

What about loss of sp progress for xbox one? Hello?

Arty844536d ago

Wow some douchey fanboy actually downvoted you

DarthZoolu4536d ago

We know what kind of fanboy it was....yuck they are the worst.

xxxsiegezzz4535d ago

I downvoted because the sp is the last thing to fix

Lou Ferrigno4536d ago

The SP progress loss is not just Xbone , it's also PS4 as I had just recently had my data lost and I was 90% into the campaign .. Almost complete, and then WOOSH , back to "New game" .. grrrrr
I will not start a new game whatsoever

BattleTorn4535d ago (Edited 4535d ago )

Ausbo was pointing out that the article addressed loss of SP data on PS4, and did not mention the issue on X1

Luckily my PS4 issues have for the most part been resolved. X1 is (roughly a week, id say) behind in the fixes

MWong4535d ago

I thought the SP issue was across all platforms, next-gen, current gen and PC. No?

Kleptic4535d ago

^never had it on PC, but possibly because Origin auto-saves to its cloud service, as well as a local save...then asks which to use the next time you play...

so when the PC version crashed, i'd just use the most recent save, whichever that was, and it would be ok...

if you only played the PC version off line with no cloud sync stuff...maybe it could happen...never heard of it other than on consoles, though...

Kornholic4536d ago

The same happened to me on PS4 too, and what I've heard, PC guys have also lost their sp progresses.

powerplayer254535d ago

Same here on PS4. And I didn't have any multiplayer trouble til the last update, now it crashes after matches, lag spikes, and is now difficult to be put in a game.

mgeezy3134536d ago

Honestly, if DICE ever has another launch that frustrating and difficult to manage after I had all that excitement of a brand new PS4 and a Battlefield 4 pre-order, and I spend my hard earned $60 on a broken product, I will never again have my faith in them. I can't explain how many times I've had that error cut off my game while I was in beast mode and I lose everything because of a broken or improperly tested game. I'm not sure what the problem was because I don't make games, but you can at least ensure that its able to be played. I don't live life like everyone owes me something, but at least give us a finished product. I'm glad the errors are getting ironed out though.

shaenoide4536d ago

You don't have to know how to make games to get what you paid for. Y know how you feel about this dude it's happening to me all the time too :/

hellzsupernova4536d ago

This.

I cancelled my battlefield 4 pre order on ps4 cause I saw all the trouble it was having in the USA, glad I did.

After sim city and battlefield I am not buying another ea game. Until battlefront if they stuff that up I will lose my shit. They have nothing on the horizon that interests me at this stage so screw them for screwing us

christrules00414536d ago

Doesn't EA usually tell DICE when to put out there game. It's like Sony could have forced Evolution studios to release Drive Club. DICE can tell EA to delay the game but if EA says no then all DICE can do is try to fix it the best they can before release.

famoussasjohn4536d ago

Though it's all speculation, I've read that EA forced DICE to release it before Ghosts to get their product out there, regardless of the state even though DICE had requested some more time as the game wasn't ready.

Kleptic4535d ago

^there is absolutely no question whatsoever that most of these issues were known before release...which is why personally i blame EA more than any development personnel involved...

It was a suit at EA that decided to AGAIN use the public beta test as a marketing gimmick (i.e. just before the game released)...no developer in the world would think of that as a good idea, only people looking for ways to attract impulse buyers...

DICE is trying to say 'its our fault', but not buying that...EA pushed the button for gold, EA got it on origin, on store shelves, and out to the buying public...not DICE...it wasn't close to ready for release, but it went gold anyway...and there is absolutely no way they weren't aware of it...

DarthZoolu4536d ago

Dude I was using the RFB 30 kills 2 deaths at half way point and I had just gotten in the attack chopper with my bro, (don't ask how long it took to get a match together)that would have been 20 kills easy with ccommunication, but no it had to crash. I have not tried to play since then. Pissed me off so bad I have been playing Ghosts on 360 instead of BF4 on my $1300 dollor pc. FML

shaenoide4536d ago

oh boy... "Investigating" on every major bug a month dince the release...

Kleptic4535d ago

yep. that is exactly what has me the most worried too...

reticle glitch...a problem in the beta...a problem in BF3...and now a problem at release...is being 'investigated'...

rubberbanding issues, something the community has traced down to drastic packet loss despite a strong connection with their ISP (so therefor, a pretty major server side issue)...is being 'investigated'...

its a sad state of affairs...network complexity wise BF4 is almost identical to BF3...the only real difference, literally, is that they layered some single player scripted events into the multiplayer arena...yet BF3 is smooth as silk on even mid range hardware, and BF4 is nearly unplayable in a lot of situations because of extreme network lag and crashes...

so why 2 full years after BF3's release, using largely similar net code (they say there are improvements, which is completely the opposite so far), are we still having to put up with this AFTER release?

don't get me wrong, i'm hooked, again...LOVE the game when it runs properly...but ohk from around corners before you see people, getting yanked back 10 meters every 5 steps, then dying because you were standing still in their screens, etc, all with a solid ping of 25 and commercial grade networking equipment in my home...thats late 90's BS...can't believe this is still a thing...

Battlefield 1, Hardline, BF4 Servers Are Being Taken Offline by Cheaters; EA Silent on Issue

Cheaters & hackers have been causing grief on Battlefield 1, Hardline & BF4 servers, with nonstop DDoS attacks among other things. Unfortunately, EA has remained silent about it.

-Foxtrot1505d ago

Course they are silent, they are hoping people flock to 2042

gamesftw2501504d ago

Maybe it was a inside job then haha.

jeromeface1504d ago

wouldnt be the first time, titanfall 1+2 anyone?

PapaBop1504d ago

Not even if they paid me.. EA always do this with old games with less money potential, if this was Ultimate Team, they'd address and sort it faster than stories could spread. Why invest time in their products when they will just dump it in the following years? Then again EA never could see the forest for the trees.

Inverno1504d ago

I imagine after those games were given out for free a couple months back through Amazon, anything that makes people go to 2042 is a plus for them

XiNatsuDragnel1505d ago

They want people to go on 2042. My theory

excaliburps1504d ago

Nah. I think they can't do anything about it or they want to sink money into fixing it.

Pudge1028881504d ago (Edited 1504d ago )

EA owns all BF servers so yes, they can do something about it but they refuse to because they dont want ppl playing their old games instead of the new one. Its EA we’re talking about here

pr33k331504d ago

if this happened in 2042, they'd have something to say. which is weird, considering battlefield 1 has more players on steam right now.

Pudge1028881504d ago

Its so obvious that EA is doing this or hired ppl to mess up the games so that we’d be forced to have just 1 Battlefield working.

FPS_D3TH1504d ago

Honestly it’s probably the devs themselves. They did an update to bf4 way back that kinda made assault rifles doo doo in hopes that people would flock to BF1 cuz BF4 was too perfect

There's a bunch of great shooters on gamepass; both legacy and new.

A recommendation I have is a work in progress preview title called Anacrusis. It's a lot of fun, and has a cool aesthetic.
