Promises broken, dreams shattered - is our industry really still in this position? Spike, what are you doing to us? Is this some giant conspiracy to discredit gaming as an art form? Not so very long ago, Spike announced VGX, a replacement to the much-lambasted VGAs. The VGX was created to be a rebirth – a celebration of all things video games. The award show aspects would be torn away, and it would be a true, intimate look at new games and upcoming games for us to celebrate our industry. This is what was promised.
The holiday ends and the boys talk about beaks for days, the upcoming game awards, and predictions for PSX.
Bethesda has yet to confirm Fallout 4 for production despite the huge anticipation and hype shown by the fans. This was the case until yesterday, when a leak image somehow hints that Fallout 4 is in development.
There has been numerous articles based on that same tweet. I refuse to get my hopes up since I do that too much anytime Fallout 4 anything gets rumored/speculated. If anything I'll be shocked if it gets shown at VGA 2014.
Shocked is the right word, I wouldn't expect that already. They're certainly not working on last gen platforms and it's still a bit too early for a game like Fallout 4.
I want this game so bad, but now cynical of anything about it as well now.... Just announce it...
I'm right there with Paytaa. We have been trolled since New Vegas of a Fallout 4. And everytime it never happens. No way am I going to even think that a new fallout is coming. NOPE!

Definitely wont be an announcement. Bethesda people have even stated there wont be another Fallout anytime soon

I love Borderlands 2 for my Vita. Cant stop playing it. Fallout on Vita would ruin my free time but i dont care

Though even more hand-clammily terrifying is the gaming community’s absolute lack of interest in a much needed reconstruction of our self-image.

Then the choices... I thought it was pure bribery in the past, but then they pick TWD, a lower prof¥£€ game. lol ok, complete BS confirmed. But now... GTA is the best game, but TLOU is the best PS3 game and AC is the best action/adventure game, both beating GTA is these categories? How the 'duck'?
Ok, for AC you can say it fits the genre better, it is more precisely typical action adventure, but for TLOU, what? How can it beat GTA when this was proclaimed the best game of all?
Anyway, they just give their prizes to make spons--- everyone happy. Keep doing it like this. Your end gets sooner this way.
PS: purely logical question, not saying one or another is best. I never really compared both and my best of 2013 would go to a completely unimaginable choice.
