Looks like it might have some of the god of war magic. Although this trailer didn't show any gameplay, from what I understand all the cutscenes are in game, so they give you a good idea of what the gameplay graphics will be like.

how could people use this as part of the 2008 lineup of PS3?

Interesting world, kind of strange subject matter for the trailer. He just kind of stabs a few nearly dead enemies.

I like the motion capture... he moves around very lifelike. I imagine (or hope) this is in game cut scene type material and not a CGI scene.

Now let's see some gameplay.

...I'm rather disappointed. This isn't looking much like the original RTE1080 tech demo/trailer from 4 years ago...before it was even platform exclusive. I remember when this, Dark Sector, Unreal Engine 3 (in the form of early Gears of War pics) and Project Offset were all first revealed...Wardevil was the one I was most impressed by. Now, it's looking like another Dark Sector...way off the mark from the original concept, and not nearly as impressive. Still, by the time this releases, I should have a PS3, so I'll still check it out...but I'm disappointed nonetheless. :(

lmao, uh......I'm sorry but that's a horrible first trailer. A paranoid yet cool looking character walking up to almost dead enemies and slowly stabbing them, I wish I understood what was going on. Hopefully the next trailer/gameplay is more action packed

I kind of wanted there to be epic fighting, but all he did was just poke spears into practically dead guys. That's not unleashing the beast within!

It looked great.. But I would have like a lil more action packed trailer, maybe showing a lil what unleashing "the monster within" looks like.. I mean all the guy did was stab 2 guys.. Cant get excited about that..

If that was in game then thats pretty impressive, but I'm in agreement with everyone else in saying that this trailer was really stupid. It's like a mo cap of some random dude stabbing other random dudes laying on the ground. Boring....

Best graphics I've ever seen for a console game but like everyone else, i'm waiting for gameplay. And by the way, it's been confirmed that they've never released any CGI footage for Wardevil. It's all in-engine / 1080p + 60 fps.

I love the style. I hope the gameplay is as skillbased as ninja gaiden, as action packed as heavenly sword, and as cinematic as God of War.

After playing games like God of War that stab was pathetic. He seemed like a tidy killer and was kinda paranoid about something jumping out at him. Had it been Kratos that guy's limbs would of been flying all over greece by now.

The main character looks so badly designed if you ask me, But to be honest i was never appealed to by this game and its going to take a lot to change that.

The main character reminded me of Ultraman if he erupted from an Aztec pyramidal alter at the sacrifice of a virgin.

It was beautiful and looks interesting. Hopefully the gameplay holds up.

but i know this is pc fan zone so they still yet think crysis looks better than everything, but on some real sh1t this game looks two generations above that trash, crysis's 3rd sequal squirms at wardevils feet, nothing touches it, get out.

The 360 couldn't handle WarDevil's RTE1080 engine, that's how it got cancelled.

Incredible animation if in-game matches the cut-scene shown. As for IQ, I have a feeling they'll be rendering at a lower resolution with software AA to enable FP16 HDR then upscaling to 1080P.

Since when do teaser trailers show a game in all of its glory? Never. Its meant to tempt not to gorge.

WarDevil looks great plus Digiguys making there own engine is great too. I wonder what Digiguys will be able to pull off with the engine.

That being said I hope to see game play soon. I hope E3 will show more on this game.

when i heard this game was going ps3 exclusive, this was one of the games that convinced me i wanted one...

i must say, i liked the first trailers better... this one just didn't do anything for me.

Aliens isn't MIA... I played it at PAX this year and it's coming out in a few months. Swap that out for something like Prey 2.

Im still waiting for the sequel to XIII the ps2 game which has an ending that majorly hints on a second one..

I doubt if there's any game Agent coming to the PS3 there hasn't been any footage or talk in 4yrs about Agent & if there is still a Last Guardian & a FFvsXIII these will be the last games on the PS3 or they will be on the next generation Playstation released sometime in 2014,my opinion.

this game has been in development longer than GT5 yet we know absolutely nothing about it and nobody complains.

So that programmer that got sued by Digi-guys might be vindicated because he basically said that the manager was just shamming the company and putting around and they as a whole they weren't achieving any real progress or something like that.
