Every single console generation beginning with the Atari 2600 has had a representative in my home during its heyday, and I see no reason that needs to stop.
Anyways, since nobody likes Nintendo anymore except for widdle diaper babies (note: I am joking) and people who want to play last-gen games this gen, the big fight is between two heavyweight contenders battling for the souls of hardcore gamers: Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One (not the first Xbox, but the third…I know).

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
Naughty Dog was reportedly divided on the controversial fate of Joel in The Last of Us Part 2 during the game's development.
I think it was good decision, if he was still alive, he would have been a mascot just like Kratos, drake and many others. These old dudes gotta die for new characters to take center stage with their own storyline. They keep dragging the emotional baggage into many sequels and eventually the story just turns into absolute shit show.
Honestly as much as I loved the game, they could have just not killed him off.
I get it creator vision and all but killing a character that made you millions is just wrong imo. At least have him go down fighting.

Square Enix launches Final Fantasy X 25th anniversary site, revealing new Nomura art, books, music releases, and merchandise.
Look I know VIII has its issues and all that but how on earth can the do big anniversary events with new artwork and merchandise for VII, IX and X yet VIII got sweet f*** all.
They could have given it something during its 25th anniversary yet all it got was a single Happy Anniversary post on their social media.
Ur broke?
It's a valid choice to not jump onto the next gen bandwagon right away. But for some of us, we just couldn't wait to see what the next level would bring us.
Sure, a lot of the good games for each new console you can find on existing consoles. And while not revolutionary better, they still offer enough in the way of upgrades to notice that there is a difference.
I know tons of people who are waiting to jump in until games like Infamous or Drive Club come out on PS4 or games like Titanfall and Quantum Break release on the Xbox One.
Look, if you buy after the first price drop then your are excused, but people who have intentions to buy (just not right when available) only hurt the console.
Consoles are businesses streamlining the cost of gaming. If the business doesn't see results then it goes bye bye like dreamcast (which was ahead of its time). Not only that, but because of inflation, your dollar is worth less tomorrow than it is today...
I know that's an extreme argument, but if you are waiting to buy the console while in the first model and before the first price drop, you are only hurting your own wallet, while directly affecting the console's launch.
This is usually an idiot's decision, or someone who couldn't budget the $400 or $500 bucks ahead of launch.
Please, wait if you want, but wait for the hardware change or the price drop... otherwise you're just being a bish.
I picked one up at launch, simply because I was tired of the PS3 and 360. Don't get me wrong, both systems have amazing games, and I've owned them both since their initial launch. What really made the push in my decision to pick up a PS4 at launch, was the current underperformance of current (or at this point, last gen) systems. Granted there are a few exceptions, like The Last of Us and GTAV (and that's only because it isn't available on any other systems yet), that still perform amazingly on the old consoles, but for games like BF4 and AC, just to name a few, i refuse to play watered down sub-HD, low framerate versions of the games, when I could be playing them on a next gen system that runs them at 60fps and much higher resolution!
Just a matter of opinion ofcourse! For me it's all about getting the best experience out of a game, and I just can't do that with the 360/PS3 versions. If you're fine with playing the current gen versions of games, then I see no reason to pick up a PS4 yet.
When I buy a console, as a PC gamer, it is purely for exclusives. I can't justify throwing hundreds down at the moment with just a handful of games for each console available now or in the near future that actually have my interest.
I honestly don't plan on owning a PS4 or Xbox One until 2015 at least. That's just me though.
